Once to Mount Vesuvius,you can choose between two trails. The Crater Trail(a scenic hike to the summit, providing breathtaking views of the Bay of Naples and a close-up view of the crater). The Valley of Hell Trail (takes you through lava flows from the 1944 eruption, with fascinating rock formations and a small lava cave).

Both trails are led by expert guides who share valuable insights into the region’s geological and historical significance.

A great tour in Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius self guided walk up the crater was awesome. Our guide in Pompeii was great and Diana and Francesco our driver were great as well. They picked us up at the port and drove us around and helped us when we arrived at the winery and were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this tour — a lot of walking and the hike up the crater was rough but well worth it in the end glad we made it all the way up.

Nice experience, well organized, the guides were competent and attentive. The meal was quite correct and delicious. Note to those interested, the ascent of Vesuvius is difficult because the slope is steep and it was very hot. However, I have seen many people over the age of 75 who have made the ascent. Only downside, impossible to have this kind of experience in French!

Exceeded my expectations. Connie, Remigio and Carmen were excellent. They looked after us and were very informative. Lunch was at a great location with a beautiful view and the food was delicious. Recommend the wine tasting of the local wines.
