Nara was amazing, and the deer made the tour even more fun. If you think you’ve seen deer, think again. Nara’s tame and friendly deer kept us smiling for days. The Todai-Ji Temple with its Great Buddha statue was absolutely stunning. Our tour guide Tony was wonderful and well versed in Nara and area. His experience as a tour guide made our day very worth while. Scott Marston

Nara was just magical. My daughter and I really enjoyed spending time with the deer. It is a very different experience and the temples are amazing. I highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Kokoro, was very helpful and guided us beautifully through the city and tour.

We had a very enjoyable day with our guide, Hugo. The really large Buddha was the highlight. Nara, the park, deer, views and walks made for a memorable experience. We recommend this day out.

The temples we visited were amazing. The guide was sub-par, he had no insight into the sites we visited and nothing to share, other than links to websites we easily found on our own. Local guides are only useful and worth the fee is they contribute something to the trip, this local guide did not.
