What To Expect
Tromso
Begin your Northern Lights adventure by meeting your guide at our pickup location in front of Aurora Kafe, Grønnegata 100, between Tromsø City Library and Aurora Fokus Cinema. A modern, air-conditioned bus with an onboard toilet ensures your comfort throughout the tour.
Troms
After check-in and a brief introduction, your guide will share insights about the Northern Lights and Tromsø as you journey to the best viewing locations based on the weather forecast. The route may include stops along the coast or even near the Finnish border, depending on the conditions. Your guide will monitor weather and solar activity to maximize your chances of seeing the Aurora. Once a suitable spot is reached, they’ll help you set up your camera or phone to capture the moment. You can warm up in the bus, as temperatures range from 5 to -30°C. As the Northern Lights appear, enjoy the breathtaking display and take stunning photos.

5.00Great experience, we didn’t hold out much hope as it was very cloudy so almost wasn’t going to turn up but we decided to just go ahead with it. Heiko, our tour guide, was very educated about how to find them and kept everyone positive. We went out the bus to check if he could see them and I’ll never forget that moment when he walked back on the coach to let us all know that they are visible! We then did a second stop which wasn’t so lucky as they were quite weak but Heiko kept us entertained with suggestions of places to visit, food to eat and talking to us about why we can see them. Thank you, Heiko!
