Columbus Park
Columbus Park, formerly known as Mulberry Bend Park, Five Points Park and Paradise Park, is a public park in Chinatown, Manhattan, in New York City that was built in 1897. During the 19th century, this was the most dangerous ghetto area of immigrant New York, as portrayed in the book and film Gangs of New York.
Chinatown
Vibrant Chinatown is a densely populated neighborhood that draws foodies and tourists to its many Chinese and Southeast Asian restaurants for dumplings, pork buns and hand-pulled noodles. The busy sidewalks are packed with souvenir stores, bubble tea shops, and markets selling everything from fresh and dried fish to herbs and spices. Locals hang out in leafy Columbus Park for Tai Chi, chess and mahjong.

Had a great tour thru China town & little Italy. Visited little gems, which we wouldn’t have found by ourselves. Delicious food, thanks Rachel.

We really loved our tour with Nicky! It was such a fun time. I had been to Chinatown and Little Italy in the past, and it seemed so overwhelming. Nicky made us feel safe, but still adventurous. He provided so much information as well as many tasty treats. Do not think this tour is a one bite per stop - it is a full meal and more. Be sure to come hungry. We had a great group of folks with us, and it made for an extra fun time. We also loved stopping at the Elizabeth Street Garden which lookedso lovely in the snow. Really enjoyed our tour and cannot recommend Nicky enough.

We had a fabulous host in Amanda who was friendly, funny and warm with a real passion for food and the local area. I learned so much and had a really fun time with the small group- we were all talking and mixing like friends because of the environment Amanda created. Also the food was AMAZING! We had a real rollercoaster of different dishes from sweet to savoury and I loved them all. It was also great to have lots of information about the local area and culture so I left feeling very full and happy. Thank you so much!

Had a fantastic time on this tour with Maud. Obviously she is very well acquainted with the neighbourhoods and passionate about the history, the food and the people. Really, I would say go ahead and do it! But don't eat before you go ☺️ Delicious food, good fun and great value. Also did this with a group of lovely people. A highlight for us on our New York trip.

The tour stops were amazing. It was -13C outside and the guide was a half hour late. The meeting point was out in the open so the overall tour experience was greatly diminished by the long wait in the cold.

Our guide, David, was knowledgeable, engaging, and just fun to hang out with. Saw parts of the city we never would’ve discovered otherwise, learned about the history of the neighborhoods, and enjoyed really great food. Wonderful experience! Highly recommend.
