Experience the original North Shore activities tour, locally owned and operated for a more authentic O‘ahu adventure. With more time off the bus than any other tour, this experience is designed for travelers who want to explore, not just sightsee.
The Surf Bus lets you choose your activities on the day of the tour, once you see ocean conditions and available options. All activity rental gear is included, so there’s nothing extra to plan or stress about.
Enjoy up to 1.5 hours in historic Hale‘iwa Town, where you’ll have time for:
Lunch and Shop Local. Matsumoto Shave-ice. Optional kayaking or SUP with the chance to see Hawaiian green sea turtles .
Choose how active—or relaxed—you want your day to be, with options such as snorkeling, kayaking, biking, waterfall visits, or simply exploring at your own pace.

You’re around the island of Hawaii. We saw waterfalls, mountains, beaches and amazing g seaside views.

5.00Great time! So many stops and Sam is a very knowledgeable guide. We went to the falls and did the kayaking. The falls are a beautiful walk through botanical gardens and a swim in the falls as well. Kayaking is up a river with sea turtles that came and joined. We where even lucky enough to see some whales off shore. Definitely bring water and a change of clothes for any water activity as the kayaks are sit on tops and there are holes for buoyancy, there's changing rooms at the falls. There's also food and bathrooms at just about each shop. Thank you again Sam <3

5.00We did the North Shore excursion. This was a fun trip and the stops they planned (e.g. macadamia nut farm) and activities were really great. The driver was terrific and I appreciated his running commentary on the drive. One suggestion would be to reduce the time for the first activity (ours was the hike to the waterfall) by an hour and add it to the next stop. It would be more balanced that way and allow us to spend more time walking around the town.

5.00What a great experience! Fun activities and plenty of time to enjoy them. Our tour guide/bus driver/camp counselor was Sam. He was very knowledgeable about Hawaii (or more specifically Oahu) including everything from Hawaiian history and culture to what movies were filmed at the various locations we passed. He was also very entertaining and took a personal interest in each of the guest. Since it was a small group Sam helped make sure everyone got to know the other “campers”. Everyone had a choice of two activities, which no matter what you did was quite special by the very fact that it was in a beautiful location - lbicycling on a bike trail next to the perfect beach, hiking up a tropical river valley / botanical garden with a waterfall at the top of the trail, kayaking from the beach into the Hawaiian “jungle” (we’ll sort of), to shopping In an old Hawaiian one street town known for its shaved ice. And what I really liked that was very special and different about this tour is that you had enough time on your own to enjoy what you were doing without feeling rushed. And then on to the next adventure!!! I definitely recommend this tour, especially if you don’t like those “everyone back on the bus in 10 minutes” 40+ people bus tours.

5.00I enjoyed my time on this tour! Jimmy was a great tour guide and I thought he had a lot of insight into the culture and he did a great job. I also especially enjoyed lunch with my lemonade and 7 brothers being so tasty! I also got to see a movie production being filmed and a possible photo of Jason mamoa and Adam Sandler. Go on this tour! The stuff he passed around on the bus was also very cool and helped me visualize what he was talking about. It also gave me a good look at the general island. However if you take this tour don't be last to the bus :)
