5.00Recommended. Jean-Simon is a native of Quebec whose experience, study, and certification give him a wealth of knowledge—but this is a casual and entertaining stroll, not a dry lecture. Because a tour was not offered on our first day in the old city, we strolled about on our own; the next day, we visited some of the same landmarks on this tour, but it was so much more enriching to get the scoop on the history and culture behind what we were seeing. The group appreciated Jean-Simon’s lively and engaging story-telling and his willingness—when prompted—to share his own insights and opinions as a Québécois—like his favorite places for lunch!
