The tour runs for around two hours taking in many of the sites of the Old Town which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We strive to be informative yet entertaining on this tour, delivering an overview of Edinburgh with the passion it deserves.

Edinburgh Old Town

The walking tour will take you up and down the network of cobbled streets and back alleys that make up the historic heart of the Old Town of Edinburgh. The tour runs for around two hours and you can expect to see sights such as St Giles Cathedral, the Mercat Cross, the George Heriot School and Edinburgh Castle (from the outside). Every guide who works with us is strongly encouraged to develop their own tour route to help ensure that they are passionate about the stories and history that they deliver on their tour. We believe this tour will give you a good understanding of Edinburgh and is a great basis for the other tours that we offer.

Very interesting. Wonderful background on the city. Our guide Angus was so knowledgeable and was a good storyteller. I learned a lot from him and had lots of fun. His sense of humor was so fun.

Great tour with Jess - she was friendly and so knowledgeable, weaving facts with interesting stories around some key locations in the city centre. She kept the group engaged and made us laugh.
