What To Expect
The overnight train from Hanoi to Sapa is one of the most popular experiences which tourists often seek for when planning a trip to this mountainous destination. Trains operate between Sapa and Lao Cai Train Station (about 35 km from Sapa). Train will leaves Hanoi Railway Station at 10pm each day and they take from 7.5 to 8 hours to reach Lao Cai Train Station. 1-HANOI to LAO CAI TRAIN STATION: 21:00 : Check in Hanoi Train Station. 22:00: Train leaves Hanoi to Lao Cai. 06:00 - Next day, we will arrive to Lao Cai Train Station. 2-LAO CAI to HANOI TRAIN STATION: 20:30 : Check in LAO CAI Train Station. 21:30: Train leaves LAO CAI to HANOI. 05:30 - Next day, we will arrive to HANOI Train Station.
