5.00It was certainly worth the price we paid. The purchase on line was smooth enough and the collection and meeting point was well organised (though Thailand style) and whilst arriving at 0930, we were not on the boat until 1030. However, we spent that time meeting and talking with the other people in our group. We met a lovely couple from California and spent much of the day exchanging views of Thailand, and the world, with them. The staff were exceptionally good and friendly. They gave us a bit of history of the area and gave clear instructions about the day. The boat itself was clean and well organised. We were provided with regular drinks and at one point, ice cream and chocolate sauce. All in all a super experience.

2.00Avoid Maya Bay at all costs, its just a tourist trap with a single file path in each direction and mosquitos, you cant even go in the water there.

4.00The overall experience was positive with friendly staff, a good itinerary and excellent weather conditions. It was also good value for money and good communication. On the downside, the meeting area was a bit of a mess with people everywhere and a fair bit of confusion. Also no toilets apparent. The boat was a bit smaller than we expected and no designated seating, so first in heat best seats. The other issue was that our itinerary was messed up as a couple were left behind at one stop and we had to wait for them to rejoin us. This cost us nearly an hour of time. It was the couples fault that they didn’t meet the group as required but we shouldn’t have left them behind if we were just found to wait for them to eventually turn up. On balance, probably 3.5 stars.

5.00I had an amazing day exploring Phi Phi Island and Maya Bay with the Moonlight Catamaran. The trip was smooth, relaxing, and beautifully organized from start to finish. The views were breathtaking, the atmosphere on the boat was perfect, and everything felt well-planned. The crew truly made the experience unforgettable they were friendly, attentive, and full of good energy. A special shout-out to Mike, who was absolutely amazing! He was helpful, fun, and made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the trip. If you’re looking for a memorable way to discover Phi Phi and Maya Bay, I highly recommend the Moonlight Catamaran.
