Pico do Arieiro
The Pico do Areeiro, with its impressive 1,818 meters of altitude, is one of the highest points of Madeira and offers one of the most spectacular views of the island. Balcoes de Ribeiro Frio
The Balcões, located in the Levada da Serra do Faial in Ribeiro Frio, are one of the most iconic and accessible viewpoints in Madeira. The route to the Balconies is an experience in itself, offering a quiet walk, surrounded by the Laurissilva Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

5.00It was an incredible experience, if we hadn't done very probably there would be places we would not go, despite having rented a car. To complete and make this experience even more enriching, we had Daniela as our guide. Daniela passes a super light, quiet, well disposed, with humor and plenty of knowledge about the island, the locals and some curiosities.

5.00The tour is very beautiful, allowing us to better know the history of the island of Madeira and its iconic sites. We did the "East tour" with the guide Daniela, well disposed and friendly, was always available to answer our questions and curiosities about the island. Being on holiday is also great to be driven (do not have to drive), especially in tourist places, where cars and confusion often accumulate. We always had the freedom to explore each of the stops, within the time provided by our guide (which must be respected for no delays). It was a great experience, we recommend!

5.00I had a wonderful experience on today’s tour to Pico do Areeiro and the Balconies. Daniela was an excellent guide — friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to everyone in the group. She shared interesting facts about Madeira’s history, culture, and nature, and made sure we had enough time to enjoy the breathtaking views and take photos. Everything was well-organized and comfortable. I highly recommend this tour and Daniela as a guide to anyone visiting Madeira!

Our guide Daniela was very friendly and always explained everything very well! I recommend this tour to see the eastern part of the island!

5.00We had booked the tour for today. Phil came to the hotel punctually at 8:30. After another pickup, the tour started punctually at 9 a.m. First we went to Terreiro da Luta viewpoint with a very nice view of Funchal. Then we drove to Pico do Arieiro. We had enough time to enjoy the fantastic view. In Ribeiro Frio we made a small hike to Balcões where we had a fantastic view again. Next we headed for the Miradouro do Guindaste. There you have a beautiful view of the cliffs. In Santana we took a break. Next we went to Porto da Cruz and tasted the rum. After a short walk we went to our last lookout point. Miradouro da Ponta do Rosto The tour was very well organized. The tour guide Phil explained a lot and drove very safely.
