You'll be welcomed into my kitchen to master the typical Polish skill - PIEROGI making. I will be pleased to introduce you to the most famous and delicious Polish dish which is pierogi (dumplings). First, we'll walk through the oldest operating marketplace in town. It is a place to be, not only because of the great amount of fresh, local products but also because of its vibrant and unique atmosphere with some great hidden gems! After we buy what we need the most (and also what we can't help but try) we'll have a short walk to my apartment. There you'll be treated to some local snacks and drinks and we will start cooking. You will know the whole process of preparing pierogi, from dough making, preparing the filling and creating special shapes of the dough, and finally eating! We will prepare pierogi with the most known filling - fresh cottage cheese, potatoes, and caramelized onions. During the experience, I will share my knowledge of Kraków, Poland, and Polish culinary traditions. I'll give you my personal recommendations of where to go and what to try while visiting Kraków to feel like a true local. The main goal of the experience is? Food hedonism!

Olga was a very friendly host, who explained traditions and recipes, not only regarding Pierogi, but other Polish treats. Being able to work in the kitchen at her home was a very comfortable and enhancing experience, better than working in a sterile commercial setting. She was very patient, explained each process and the reason for the process. She was well prepared and set up. Would highly recommend.

This is my first cooking class and it was fabulous! Olga met us and lead us through Krakow's beautiful Old Market, then we went to her charming apartment where she provided some snacks while she got the kitchen ready for our work. She was a lovely and patient host and instructor. These were far and away the BEST pierogi we had in Poland. Olga sat with us while we shared our feast and we all had a lovely conversation about her life in Krakow and our lives in the US.

Olga took our group to a lovely local farmers market where we picked our ingredients for the pierogi. We ventured to her beautiful home in central Krakow where we made the dumplings from scratch. Olga fed us with traditional snacks and told us about their origin before we began the preparation of the pierogi and then once finished we all sat and feasted on our creations. Was an amazing experience, recommended for couples, friends, family and anyone wanting to try a plate (or 3) of delicious traditional polish cuisine. Perfect, we have loads of.

My wife and I love to participate in cooking classes wherever we visit in Europe. This class exceeded our expectations. Olga took us to a market in Krakow to select ingredients for our Pierogi and then took us to her apartment. We loved hearing about her family traditions and her life in Krakow. My wife and I learned so much about the correct method of preparing, cooking, and then eating the Pierogi. They were beyond delicious! Olga sent us her family recipe and we look forward to making Pierogi at home. Olga and her Cooking Experience was wonderful! Thank you!

A fantastic all around. The first stop in the local markets was a wonderful experience immersing ourselves into the local flavor. The entire experience from the prep work, creating the pierogi, to eating our creations was truly amazing. I would highly recommend this experience.

We absolutely loved our cooking and shopping experience with Olga. Our hotel was actually very close to the meeting point and she took us to the local market to pick up the snacks and cheese for the filling. Along the way Olga pointed out ingredients and things to buy after our lesson, or another day, that we can take back with us. It was another short walk from the market to her apartment (less than 10 min), where she prepared the cheese, sausages, and pickles for us to snack on. Olga was fantastic with every member of the family from my youngest (age 7), to my teens and us adults. Every single family member loved trying their newly learned techniques on filling the pierogies and eating them at the end. My oldest was so thrilled with the lesson he wanted to leave his own review (but too young to sign up for Viator account), so he asked me to give the max number of stars and then some. This lesson was the highlight of our family trip to Krakow and everyone was still talking about it on the flight back. We did go back to the market after our lesson and purchased a number of items afterwards to include a cheat pierogi mold with Olga suggested we use for making fruit pierogies in the summer.

Olga taught a wonderful class! I loved the trip to the local market to get some fresh supplies for the class followed by a walk to her home. There were a total of 4 of us in the class with plenty of room for all of us. Olga opened her home making me feel like a close friend. Overall a wonderful experience.
