You'll be welcomed into my kitchen to master the typical Polish skill - PIEROGI making. I will be pleased to introduce you to the most famous and delicious Polish dish. First, we'll walk through the oldest marketplace in town. It is a place to be, not only because of the great amount of fresh, local products but also because of its vibrant and unique atmosphere with some great hidden gems! After we buy what we need (and also what we can't help but try) we'll have a short walk to my apartment. There you'll be treated to some local snacks and drinks and we’ll start cooking. You will know the whole process of preparing pierogi, from dough making, preparing the filling and creating special shapes of the dough, and finally eating! We will prepare pierogi with the most traditional filling - fresh cottage cheese, potatoes, and caramelized onions. During the experience, I will share my knowledge of Kraków, Poland, and our culinary traditions. I'll give you my recommendations of where to go and what to try while visiting Kraków to feel like a true local. The main goal of the experience? Food hedonism! Notice! On Sundays, the experience takes place without a visit to the food market.

This is one of the best things we've ever done on holiday. It's a fabulous experience for anyone looking to do something a little different. Olga is a charming host who helped us understand about Polish culture as well as how to make authentic pierogi. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and highly recommend this if you are visiting Krakow.

We had the most wonderful day with Olga and this experience was a highlight of our time in Krakow! Olga is a warm and friendly person who made us feel welcome and comfortable. Walking through the market was a great experience and Olga told us about all the different stalls. It was so nice to purchase some of the ingredients we would be cooking with and we were also able to try some fresh cheese. Olga’s house is a short walk from the market and is a beautiful and cosy apartment. Olga kindly prepared us some snacks to go on with such as pickles, polish sausage, bread and different cheeses upon arrival. When it came to making our pierogi Olga was a patient and engaging teacher and it was lots of fun and really interesting to share a piece of her culture! Eating the pierogi at the end together was lovely and they were absolutely delicious!! You will not regret choosing to spend some time with Olga learning to make pierogi :)
