Please keep in mind that trains to Cinque Terre are regional trains. This means that no seats are assigned nor guaranteed. In high season ( June, July, August & September) due to the popularity of the villages, the trains could be very crowed and hot, be prepared.

This tour is not suitable for people with walking disabilties and to those sensitive to the heat

In summer it is recommended to bring hat, sun cream, bottle of water and swimming suit. In winter it is recommended to bring a rain jacket in the event of bad weather.

We recommend you not to make any travel arrangements for when we return to Florence in the event of any train delays.

The tour operator recommends not to bring valuable objects on the tour due to possible thieves often present on trains. The tour operator is not responsible for any items lost or stolen on the trains.

What To Expect

Florence

We will meet at the main entrance of the pharmacy inside Santa Maria Novella train station at 7:30am. Look up for our Tour Leader, easily recognizable by their purple T-shirt. After a brief introduction about the day you will board on a train to Pisa. If you are running late and unfortunately miss the group, don't worry take the first train independently to Pisa and meet the group there. On the train have a little nap or enjoy your scenic ride out of the city, arriving in Pisa approximately 1h30m later.

Leaning Tower of Pisa

Upon arrival, follow your tour leader to the Field of Dreams (Piazza dei Miracoli), a verdant expanse home to the city’s most important sights: the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Baptistery and the Duomo. Here you will be completely free to visit the main sights independently for 1h30mins

    Luigi the tour guide was fantastic and very friendly & accomodating too. I highly recommended this tour. Cinque terre was very beautiful and very challenging to hike. We really enjoyed this tour very much. Hope to see him again in another tour.
