On this whale safari tour, you will be on the boat that arrives first at the whale area from Tromsø
Take to the waves and admire Norway’s native marine life by boat on this all-inclusive, polar whale safari from Tromsø. Cruise in comfort towards Skjervøy via the magnificent mountain and seascapes while listening as a guide sheds light on the different fish and whale species thriving in the mineral-rich waters. Spot inquisitive humpbacks and killer whales, look out for bird life such as sea eagles, and frame all the action through the lens of your camera. With outdoor decking and indoor seating on board your boat, enjoy an experience with Norway’s native wildlife.
Our boat is the first one that arrives Skjervøy in the morning and also the last one leaving the whale spotting area. That will give you more time with the whales.
The duration of this tour is 8 hours depending on weather conditions.

Great opportunity to see different types of whale.which lasted 9 hours. Free availability of soft drinks and biscuits, lunch of excellent hot soup and focaccia. Extremely friendly staff. The biologist guide was inexperienced with limited knowledge and did not educate us the way we expected. The boat was quite reasonable and performed very well but looked a bit tired and was quite packed with about 34 people

An amazing trip with the best of crews and spectacular sights. Such a warm, friendly personal atmosphere that only a small group can create. Really loved the guides/crew helping (Sophie, Ken, Chef Halinka and Captain Miquel) out, such a knowledge about both area and the animals we were about to see. A lot of laughter, big smiles and people from all over the world seeing Orcas, Finwales and eagles together is a memory for life. Really recomend this company if your in Tromsø.

We had a great experience with Polar Adventures. The staff were caring and knowledgeable. The scenery on the way was spectacular and we had a bonus viewing of reindeer but best of all was that we saw plenty of whales. We lost count of the number of orca, saw 3 humpbacks close up and a fin whale. We appreciated the veggie soup for lunch and the unlimited hot drinks and biscuits for the long trip out and back. No one was seasick either!

Trash company that plans tours and cancels without letting you know. Will never recommend or use them again. Even emailed multiple times in advance to ensure the tour was still happening only to be cancelled on and finding out it was cancelled because no boat showed up to the meetup after hours of waiting.

THIS IS A SCAM!!!! DO NOT BOOK!!!! PLEASE. I NEVER write bad reviews. I’ve been all over the world and this was by far the WORST travel experience I’ve ever had. Seriously - we booked our tour three months in advance. I confirmed twice before our tour date that we were still going. The company canceled, and are refusing to refund, after we had paid for transport to their site and almost $400 USD for the tour. I only found out the tour was canceled after we traveled across the world, waited at their site in the bitter cold and snow for 1.5 hrs, then no one showed up to their meeting point. WE WERE NEVER EMAILED, CALLED, OR FULLY REFUNDED US FOR THIS NIGHTMARE. I demanded a refund, the manager promised a refund, then said he would need ALL of my banking information (routing number, account number, my full legal name, bank name, SWIFT / IBAN number, etc.) to refund me. People were trying to drain my account!!!!! And yes, this was actually this ‘company’ - I booked directly through their site. Still waiting for my refund - I email three times each week, no reply… how strange! If this were legit, I’d have my money back. I paid with card and was told they couldn’t refund my card. So, in summary… DO NOT BOOK. THIS IS A SCAM. YOU WILL BE SCAMMED.

The day was truly magical!! we saw orcas, humpback whales , and even an eagle that came out to say hi. The weather was really good and we got cotton candy colored skies the whole way. Thanks again to Juan for explaining the importance these beautiful animals have! Lunch was also really good Would recommend!

We booked this tour 4 months ago and it was cancelled at the last minute with no explanation. Because of this we were not able to book with anyone else because everything was already booked. I understand things happen but they did not communicate or even offer another date or tour companies that we could do it with.
