We had so much fun with Rodrigo today eating and drinking common meals. We also learned about the culture and loved every minute of it

We had a truly delightful wine and food tour of Porto with Ana, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. I did the tour with my wife and my mother in law, and Ana was incredibly accommodating throughout, ensuring the pace, stops, and overall experience worked perfectly for all of us. She was unfailingly friendly, warm, and genuinely pleasant to spend time with. Ana’s knowledge of Porto’s history, food, and wine culture is outstanding. She added rich background and historical context that brought each stop to life, and her strong local connections were evident in the quality of the restaurants and tastings we enjoyed. Every meal came with thoughtful insight that deepened the experience well beyond simply eating and drinking. Overall, the tour was relaxed, engaging, and exceptionally well curated. Ana made the day feel personal and special, and it was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable Porto experience. In

My wife and I enjoyed the private food and wine walking tour. Our guide, Igor, was excellent. He is very knowledgeable of Porto history and Portuguese food and wine. He made sure that we had an enjoyable experience. I recommend this tour to food and wine lovers that want to visit local eateries and markets.

Ana is an amazing guide. The tour was so well prepared, combining different foods and drinks and a lot of historical facts! I could learn a lot (and ate a lot!) and it was very smooth and welcoming. Highly recommend it for anybody arriving to Porto. At the end Ana sent an amazing list of recommendations of bars, restaurants, roof tops. I did not even manage to cover them all. Honestly, this was my biggest highlight of the trip. Thank you Ana! Best, Daria PS Attached pictures contain only part of all the food and drinks we had 😉

We booked this guided food tour in Porto as part of my girlfriend’s birthday celebration and overall it was a genuinely fun and memorable experience. What really made the evening special was the group. It’s rare to end up with such a great mix of people on these kinds of tours, and the atmosphere throughout the night was relaxed, social, and engaging. That alone added a lot to the experience. Our guide, Beatrix, was fantastic. She’s currently pursuing a culinary master’s degree in Porto (focused on the Douro region), and her passion for food and local gastronomy was obvious. One unique touch we really appreciated was that she brought along cookbooks and took the time to explain in detail how certain traditional dishes are prepared. That’s not something you see often on food tours, and it made the experience feel much more authentic and educational. The food itself was good, not extraordinary, but enjoyable and representative of local cuisine. One point of disappointment, however, was regarding dietary accommodations. We had specifically notified the company in advance about the need for alternatives to pork-based dishes. We understand that pork is very common in Portuguese cuisine and that substitutions can be challenging, but the tour advertises that dietary restrictions can be accommodated if communicated ahead of time. Unfortunately, it seemed that this information was not passed along to our guide, who only learned about it upon arrival. While Beatrix did her best to adapt in the moment, the options were understandably limited at that stage. This appeared to be more of an organizational issue than a fault on the guide’s part. Overall, still a fun and worthwhile experience (especially thanks to the guide and the group) but better coordination on dietary requests would make a meaningful difference.

Our guide Igor Machiavelo was very passionate and knowledgeable about Porto. Igor took us to parts of the city we wouldn’t have ever have found. The authentic food we tasted was excellent. We wished we had been in the tour at the beginning of our trip. Thank you Igor 🥰

Only gave 5 stars because it wouldn't allow to give 6. We were 4 Americans traveling with a toddler + 6 month old, and as first time of Portugal go’ers couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Beatriz did an incredible job of taking us through AUTHENTIC Porto and going to several food and wine tasting spots that made us feel connected with the community and learned so much along the way. Maggie was with her training to be a tour guide as well and you would be so lucky to have either, couldn’t recommend in a higher regard!
