This Dubai Desert Safari & BBQ Dinner excursion takes you out to a desert camp for a night of fun, adventure, and traditional Arabian entertainment. Pick up and drop from/to hotel is included.
Your Dubai safari trip will start with a thrilling drive across the desert in a 4x4 where you’ll get to see the changing colors of the sand dunes as the sun sets. When you reach the desert camp, you’ll be treated to a traditional BBQ meal and feast on grilled meats and other Arabian specialties. There are plenty of traditional entertainment options at the camp to enjoy, including belly dancing, a Tanura show (traditional Egyptian dance), shisha corner (hubbly bubbly), sandboarding, camel riding, henna painting, and more. Or you can just relax, soak up the atmosphere, and take plenty of snaps of the gorgeous views.

3.00Jamel was a great driver, made us feel safe and was taking care of us during dinner. However, the camp for dinner was very disappointing: the infrastructure was poorly maintained and the food was very average. The appetizers were a piece of chicken nugget, a piece of falafel and cold French fries with ketchup. Dinner was served in plastic plates, in a buffet which lacked variety, and the so called “barbecue” was cooked hours in advance, was cold, and was served by hand from a metal container covered with aluminum foil. I did a similar safari in Dubai 10 years ago, and kept great memories from it: the camp had actual tents, beautiful setting and decoration, bbq on site, etc… this was far from that experience. The name of this excursion says “premium”, and the price is above other options from competitors, so one would expect something some special. Definitely would not come back to the same excursion and would look for better options.
