The cooking class is held in a cooking school with professional chefs, ensuring you learn authentic recipes and the best preparation.

It is the most complete gastronomic activity you can find in Barcelona.

You'll start by visiting La Boquería market accompanied by the chef or his assistant.

Upon your return, you'll taste 10 tapas paired with different wines, and the chef will explain the history of Spanish gastronomy through these tapas.

You'll enjoy learning how to prepare a complete traditional Spanish menu: Seafood Paella, Spanish Omelette, and Crema Catalana.

The menu can be adapted to any type of diet: Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.

Drinks are included during the Tapas tasting, during the cooking class, and at lunch or dinner.

Additional Info

What To Expect

Premium cooking class with professional chefs. Zero kilometer products. It includes a visit of the La Boquería market you will do with our chef that you will do with our chef and he will explain from anecdotes about the sellers themselves to the history of Catalan gastronomy and its traditions. Also included is a tasting of 10 Tapas accompanied by different wines and an explanation of Spanish gastronomy through these Tapas. All participants cook all the dishes on the Menu. For example, a Paella is cooked for every 2-3 participants. They are small groups of 11 participants. In an emblematic place in Barcelona. In the historic center of the city. It is an 18th century apartment that belongs to a Catalan aristocracy family, completely renovated and maintaining all its majesty. From kitchen novices to cooking enthusiasts, those of all skills will take pleasure in learning how to cook Just Royal traditional menu of Spanish omelette, seafood paella and Crema Catalana. Not to mention, the workshop is heavily assisted by an endless flow of wine, making both cooking and dining even more enjoyable.

    great experience. the tour of the market was great while it is the touresty market it is all great. The food was amazing and well throughout and easy to follow. Great family activity. The couples were fun and everyone participated the unlimited wine was also great

    We had an awesome time! My vegetarian husband and carnivore self were in Barcelona for our honeymoon. It's tricky finding vegetarian friendly food-related activities but they definitely did their best! Husband had fun and we both learned awesome tips on cooking.

    BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Great experience at the market……amazing tapas, great egg soufflé and tomato bread! Wine and beer flowed and making the paella was amazing! Our chef was knowledgeable and FUN! We each had “names” by the end of the session!!! I learned so much about Spain!!!! Thank you SO MUCH!!!

    My wife and I love to experience the food cultures of the city's we vacation in by attending cooking classes. Claudia made our experience while visiting Barcelona one of the best we have ever experienced! Her knowledge, friendliness and the passion she shared for what she does, was 2nd to none. Paella and Spanish omelet recipes were outstanding and we can't wait to recreate and share with our families in Canada and the USA.

    This was such a wonderful experience! Our family made friends and laughed and giggled all the way along. I would absolutely suggest to anyone to enjoy this experience. We had Claudia as our chef and 10/10 she was a riot. Food was yummy and the explanations even better. Tour of the market was very cool also.
