Great tour of the palace which was the vast majority of the tour. Limited tour of the gardens but you have access and you really don't need a guide there anyway. The guide was very good and very knowledgeable about the history of different rooms within the castle as well as history about the periods in general. For our tour it was very crowded (as I understand is often the case) so it's well worth skipping the lines initially though be prepared for crowds throughout though the gardens (because they're very big) are pretty open.
