Yu Garden (Yuyuan)
Meet your knowledgeable guide and driver at your hotel lobby and discuss your Shanghai things-to-do list with your guide. Of course, your knowledgeable guide will give you some suggestions, and he or she will customize your day based on your needs and interests. Typically start your sightseeing tour from Yuyuan garden, a beautifully preserved garden that dates back over 400 years. Spend your relax morning strolling around the ancient house with delicate pavilions, corridors, ponds, rockeries, walkways and lush green trees. Enjoy the picturesque view and hear the rich history from your professional guide (Please Note: Yuyuan garden close on Monday).
Shanghai Tower
Continue to Shanghai tower (632m), the tallest building in China and the second tallest in the world. From the top, you will have a 360-degree panoramic view of the whole city. Then, walk on famous Riverside Promenade (Binjiang Da Dao) to see the west side of Shanghai.

5.00A fantastic overview of Shanghai. May our guide was exceptional, informative, really helpful and very friendly. We saw so many different aspects of this wonderful city. Alana her manager was also really helpful and upgraded our tour to add a free lunch (which was delicious) as the Yu gardens are closed on Mondays. Our driver was also excellent and the car very comfortable and air conditioned which helped a lot. I would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone who has not visited Shanghai before. Probably our best Viator tour so far! Thank you May

5.00I had a wonderful tour with Jenny exploring this beautiful city! We covered so many areas in a very short time, but I never felt rushed and she kept checking to make sure I was seeing everything I hoped to see. We went for a delicious authentic lunch with no tourists in the place. She also gave me tips on how to navigate the city for the rest of my trip. I never would have been able to do this all on my own. I highly recommend.

5.00Xin was our guide and arrived at the hotel ahead of schedule, waiting for us in the lobby. Get English was incredible and her knowledge of the history, the sites, and the city was impressive. She helped us get in to every location, showed us the best spots for pictures, and guided us through food choices and shopping. She helped us get expensive but high quality local tea, and find cheaper options off the beaten path at local markets for souvenirs. We had a wonderful, perfect day. If we ever come back - and I hope we will - we will see booking this again!
