The Sognefjord, King of the Fjords, is the longest fjord in Norway.
Walk directly from your hotel in Bergen to our yacht, and start a 2-day - 1-night cruise to the Sognefjord, with Balestrand, Nærøyfjorden, and Flåm.
We start in Bergen after breakfast, and cruise out the fjords of Bergen, through the archipelago, passing small islands and fjords. Your pulse is low, and we just enjoy the lovely surroundings and silence on the way.
You can choose if you want to stay on the boat over the night, or go to Kviknes Hotel. If you sleep on the yacht, it will be entirely yours, and you have the evening and night by yourself. Dinner at the Kviknes Hotel, or the nearby cider farm.
Cruising Sognefjord and Nærøyfjord on day 2, and to Flåm. Nærøyfjord is said to be the most beautiful fjord in the world.
In Flåm you leave us, proceeding your journey, or overnight. The Flåm railway is connected with the train to Bergen or Oslo, or roundtrip back to Flåm, and a car will take you back to Bergen.

Me and my husband had some days in Bergen, and had decided to finalize the visit with a cruise to Sognefjord and Flam, including Naeroyfjord. We discussed several ways to do this (train, bus, car from Bergen), but when we came over this boat, we both agreed this was the best way to do it. The boat was booked some weeks ahead of our visit. We met up at Bryggen (agreed meeting-point), after check out from our hotel. It was a lovely morning, and we had a whole boat for ourselves the next day. Captain helped us with the luggage, and got onboard the boat, and we started cruising towards Sognefjord. The first hours passing islands and sounds, in slow speed. It was all up to us if we wanted to go fast or relax at slow speed, and we had no rush- and went slow the whole day. We had lunch aat a remove but very nice place called Skjaerjehamn or something, out on an island, but a great place to stop. It was a old hotel with nice gardens, and good food. Later we continued towards the Sognefjord, and started to cruise in the main fjord towards Balestrand. Captain was again asking if we wanted to go fast, but we had a good time relaxing and taking things easy, and enjoying the wine he supplied us with. No rush. We speeded up in the end, not to get too late to the destination, even if the whole cruise was actually a destination itself. Arriving av Balestrand, we had decided to stay in the boat during the night, but also had the coice of staying in the Kviknes hotel if we wanted to. The boat was docked just outside the hotel, and the captain left us alone. We then went for dinner at the hotel, and a drink in the bar, before we went to the boat to sleep. Breakfast at the hotel the next morning (a lovely morning), and started cruising for N
