Dragon Bridge
Dragon Bridge is 666m long, 37.5m wide and has six lanes for traffic. It opened to traffic on March 29, 2013, at a cost of nearly VND 1.5 trillion dong (US$88m). The bridge was designed by the US-based Ammann & Whitney Consulting Engineers with Louis Berger Group. Construction was undertaken by Company No. 508, an affiliate of Civil Construction Engineering Corporation No.5, and Bridge Company No. 75. Main span was completed on October 26, 2011. The bridge was opened to traffic on March 29, 2013, the 38th anniversary of the liberation of Danang City. This modern bridge crosses the Han River at the Le Dinh Duong/Bach Dang traffic circle, providing the shortest road link from the Danang International Airport to other main roads in Danang City, and a more direct route to My Khe Beach and Non Nuoc Beach on the eastern edge of the City. The bridge was designed and built in the shape of a dragon and to breathe fire and water.
My Khe Beach
Considered to be Vietnam's most picturesque beach, the white sandy 20-mile stretch of My Khe Beach was named by the American troops who visited during the Vietnam War for R&R. It offers excellent surfing from September just off the shores of Danang. There are also a number of high-end resorts within the vicinity should you be in need of pampering with most offering a rich choice of treatments at their spas and a range of dining options.

Bao was a great guide, offering a personalized experience of Danang and Hoi An. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating for our group. Thu Ho with Maximus Travel Vietnam was also great to work with. We booked three tours while visiting Vietnam and he was very communicative before each tour began.

DaNang was such a surprise! A beautiful city and so much to see! Most importantly was our guide. Mr. Rin was amazing. We have visited 68 countries and Mr. Rin was the best guide we have ever had. Knowledgeable and personable. Always looking out for our comfort. What ever they are paying him, it’s not enough! Strongly recommend him!

Our guide Tin shared his cultural, historical and social knowledge across the sights of Danang/Hoi An. We enjoyed the spirituality and beauty of Marble Mountain, an authentic and delicious meal in Hoi An, the serenity of Chua Linh Ung, spectacular vistas from the peninsula- even a visit with the monkeys. We scored shopping deals on pearls, coffee, cashews and silk clothing. Thank you Tin- we all fell in love with Vietnam-100% recommend!!!

Mr. Tho was a fabulous tour guide. He knew all the best places for pictures and happily took group photos. Our lunch was interesting: None of us had experienced hot pot before. We weren't quite sure what we were having or how to eat it, but it was delicious. The Big Buddha was particularly interesting, and the traffic has to be experienced to be believed. Our group took a bit too much time looking at the silk and embroidery at the restroom break on the way to Danang, which left us little time in Hoi An, so be aware of how much time you have and how much time you need to get back to the ship.

We were tired of the cruise bus tours. We are on a 128 day world cruise. This tour was phenomenal. VU was a great guide. Provided history updates and great commentary on all the sites while leading us to the major sites . Six course meal at local restaurant.
