We traveled to Suzhou by train. We were met by Odynovo guide May and driver Mr Wang. We enjoyed our day by visiting the Lingering Garden, the Humble Administrator’s Garden, boating on the canal and walking along Pingyiang Old Street. We also attended the “Master of Nets” garden show. Our guide was so enthusiastic about all the sights. We learned so much about Chinese history! Thank you, May

The trip was great and enjoyable. Everything was organized properly. Someone picked us up from the hotel and drove us tor the station where our guide was there to take us to Hangzhou. Everything was smooth and communication was great.

I booked a private tour of Suzhou with Jenny China Tours on June 19, 2025. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a beautiful day turned into a shocking experience. On the highway, our vehicle hit a bird violently. I asked to stop to check on him, but the driver and guide refused, minimizing the impact and joking about the situation. As someone committed to the animal cause, I was deeply shocked and upset. The rest of the day was marred by this event and the team’s total lack of empathy. I reported the incident to customer service. I was given cold answers, denying any responsibility, despite my request for recognition and moral reparation. I share my experience here not to complain, but to raise awareness: an excursion is not limited to an itinerary, it must also reflect human and ethical values. For travelers who, like me, respect life in all its forms, I invite you to learn about the sensitivity and commitment of providers before booking.

This trip was my first to China and as nervous as I was to travel alone, my guide Mr. Troy made my experience feel special. He was very attendant knowledgeable which made me feel comfortable in a foreign environment. The small details of each trip had me excited for the next day. I did a 3 day tour over 4 different Ancient Water Towns and loved every minute of it. The food, sights, and company made my trip a once in a lifetime experience. I’ll definitely book again with Jenny’s China Tours.

Our guide Kristy was amazing! Super energetic and positive, and she guided us through a long day without ever missing a beat. She stayed late to make sure we didn’t miss anything on the itinerary, even though the day ran long due to holiday crowds and traffic. She was incredibly helpful in navigating the tricky parts—like getting us through ticketing and onto the boat—quickly and smoothly, where we probably would’ve been lost or stuck without her. Her help really made the day feel seamless and stress-free. We learned a lot from her, and the day felt really worthwhile. The car was clean and comfy, and Mr. Hu was a great driver—punctual, polite, and navigated some pretty hectic traffic safely and smoothly.

I was traveling solo to Shanghai and am so glad I booked Jenny’s Tours: one day to Hangzhou and one day to Suzhou. Both guides were speaking perfect English and were very friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. They shared many awesome stories about Chinese history and myths. They also helped me with getting excellent vegetarian food. I recommend it warmly!

We had participated in the excursion "Suzhou incredible highlights" on March 17. The start of the excursion was postponed by one hour in advance, as two mid-ice guests only arrived on this day. The guide had picked up these two guests at the hotel. When we got out of the terminal, we didn't see anyone with a sign at first. We walked the entire row with the buses. Back at the terminal we saw a small group. It turned out that they too had booked the same excursion and were also looking for our guide. Neither did the guide look for his guests nor had anyone else put up the promised sign. Never before had we seen a person standing with the appropriate sign. Luckily, there were other guests who recognized the guide from a previous trip. The woman went to him in the terminal and brought him to us. He then came to us with the two new guests. Only then did he call the bus driver. We had to wait another 20 minutes in the cold for the minibus. Overall, we stood in the cold for 50 minutes. We had to get up an hour earlier than we were told in advance and had to wait almost an hour in very cold outside temperatures. That was an imposition and I can't do it. The two newly arrived guests were unable to leave their bags at the terminal at Aida and had to take them with them. The bus did not have a trunk and so the suitcases stood in the way in the aisle of the bus and would have prevented the rear guests from getting out in an emergency. That was very cramped and dangerous. Also the bus was very small and cramped. Many seats were due to wheel arches etc. without sufficient space for the legs. The guide couldn't use the microphone on the bus because there was feedback and you didn't understand anything. So he used the audio guide devices. This was also rather suboptimal on the bus. At the first stop there would have been nice souvenirs. Unfortunately, we had not gotten any free time there. During the later leisure time there were unfortunately no souvenirs to buy. That was annoying. Overall, the trip did not meet our expectations.

My friend and I took this tour on 26/4/25. We enjoyed the tour tremendously mainly because our tour guide,Nora, was excellent. She is very knowledgeable and engaging. She is also helpful, accommodating and funny. We learnt so much from her clear and detailed explanation about the places en route n the places we visited. The Administor’s Garden is very beautiful and interesting. Despite the crowd it is well worth a visit. The平江 pedestrian shopping street was great fun with plenty to see, eat and shop. The water town Tong Li is very enjoyable, interesting and relaxing for us Time and money for this tour was very well spent. Highly recommend.

We are a family of three and the door to door service private Tour is definitely worth what you pay for. Nora is an excellent and Knowledgeable guide and provided exceptional service. The noodle lunch in a local popular noodle house was a definite highlight. We loved the bullet train experience which took us back and forth from the city in 37 minutes. Overall a very good choice if you're looking for an out of town trip from Shanghai.
