Your day will start at your accommodation in Florence, where your private English-speaking driver, will pick you up, at the requested time.

5.00Marco was our guide to Pisa, Siena, and San Gimignano. He is very friendly and knowledgeable of the entire Tuscan region. He pointed out many historical sites and explained different cultural aspects of each area during our drive. It takes an hour (and sometimes almost 2 hours) to get between each city. This makes for quite a lot of time in the vehicle. This tour is self-serve once you arrive at each stop. I think it’s important to understand that it’s not a walking tour where your guide stays with you in each city. This can tend to get a little overwhelming because it’s hard to really know what you’re looking at and what is a must see besides the obvious (tower of Pisa, Siena main square, etc.). This is a worthwhile tour to see the Tuscan landscape outside of Florence if you have the time to dedicate to it.

5.00What a great day! Giuseppe was excellent and had a great plan for the day, but with some flexibility as well. He had good information on how to maximize our time in each place we stopped and arranged for a fun stop at a winery in the afternoon as well. The A/C in the van was much appreciated as well.
