What To Expect
Forbidden City-The Palace Museum
With no-guide ticket only, you can enjoy your visit to the Forbidden City at your own pace and stay inside the museum till the closing time. Easy access via showing your passport. Viewers must bring the original valid passport used during the reservation and enter through the Meridian Gate (South Gate of the Forbidden City) for ticket checking. If you choose the guide tour, in order to find each other easily, you'll meet your guide at Hotel Kapok and then walk to Forbidden City together. Half day tour explore the magnificent Forbidden City - the largest Imperial Palace in the world. You’ll spend a couple of hours wandering around this amazing example of Imperial architecture and learning about the history of the palace. The whole morning / afternoon tour will be around 2-3 hours. You can visit the major palaces along central axis as well as other places worth visiting.

5.00Jenna is a great tour guide. Not only does she speak perfect English, she has all the knowledge about every single piece and place within the Forbidden City. She's not the type of tour guide, who only tells you the historic dates, no, you'll be having a great time with her, as she ll adjust to your needs and interests. The best tour guide we ever met.
