5.00Local Tour Provider was VN Bike Tour. Since our flight was delayed for more than 3 hours, we arrived at the hotel past 1PM. Almost an hour late for the pick-up time for the City Tour. We were so surprised but happy to see LY VINH KIEN, our tour guide, in our hotel lobby, patiently waiting for us. He welcomed us with a smile and told us to check in first and put our things in our room, before we proceed with the City Tour. During the tour, he exhaustively explained the history of Vietnam, their culture, their way of life, etc. He patiently answered all the questions of my mother-in-law and my 7-year-old daughter. He even accompanied us to a local banh mi store so we can grab some for quick lunch, as we have not had any lunch yet. Since our hotel was near Ben Tanh Market, he revised our Itinerary to exclude this and instead, include a visit to a Pagoda and a Temple. All in all, the tour was not only educational, it was also fun and entertaining.
