Craigie's Farm not used
Craigie's farm is a 30 minute drive from Edinburgh city centre. This is a working farm that has Highland Cows that love carrots as treats. There's also a farm shop and cafe where you can grab a coffee and/or a bite to eat to take on the go.
Luss
A 90 minute drive will take us to the 'foot steps' of the Highlands and the beautiful village of Luss nestled on the banks of Loch Lomond, overlooking the Ben Lomond munro. Apart from stunning views of Luch Lomond, Luss is a place steeped in history, and here you can find an extremely rare Viking Hogback gravestone. There's a couple of gift shops, toilet facilities and places for refreshments.

Be prepared for a long day. Definitely worth the time. The experience was amazing, and our guide was very knowledgeable and took us to the most wonderful places.

So glad we did this! We had a great day and are so happy we got to see a bit of the Highlands during our trip to Edinburgh. We travelled with kids ages 2-6 and our guide Martin did a great job adapting the tour a bit to better suit our family.

Jimmy was excellent. There had been a storm in the area the night before and some of the stops were without power. Jimmy didn’t miss a beat. He knew places only visited by the “Locals,” so we could grab a bite, souvenirs, and use the restroom. We had our youngest daughter with us, just turned 9, and she loved it. She still talks about feeding the “Harry Coo!” That’s Scottish for Highland Cow. If you want to see The Scottish Highlands, this is the way to do it!

Unforgettable Highlands Tour with Jimmy! Jimmy was the perfect guide for exploring the Scottish Highlands. He combined deep local knowledge with a warm, friendly personality and just the right touch of humor. We visited breathtaking viewpoints and hidden gems we’d never have found on our own, all while learning fascinating history and legends. The pace was relaxed but we covered so much. By the end of the day it felt like we were traveling with a friend. I can’t recommend Jimmy enough—this tour was the highlight of our trip!
