This cooking class was a lot of fun! We were picked up at our Airbnb and driven to the guides home. We enjoyed learning how to make this national food, and spending time with Elisa and her family. After enjoying our meal, we were returned to our Airbnb. I highly recommend this experience!

An unforgettable morning hosted by a warm Salvadoran–French couple in the home of his mother, a former pupusería owner. She taught us to make corn masa pupusas stuffed with Nicaraguan cheese, loroco, and homemade refried beans — the best brands being one secret to perfection — folded and pinched to the perfect thickness, then served with crisp cabbage-and-onion slaw splashed with vinegar and refreshing homemade horchata. As a bonus, they shared local coffee secrets and the art of the perfect pour. From hotel pickup to heartfelt hospitality, everything was seamless. The only thing that could make it better would be a bit more hands‑on space to do every step alongside her — but the flavors, warmth, and cultural insight were absolutely top‑notch.

This experience was so fun !! Everyone was so welcoming. My boyfriend and I felt so comfortable and loved every second of it. The pupusa making itself was very fun and the pupusas were some of the best we have ever tried. I would do this again!

The workshop is super nice, we learn from the best: the locals! Pupusas are THE thing to taste during the stay but making them yourself is even better (it's funny too) 🤤 The teachers are welcoming, super nice and we laugh: I recommend!
