What To Expect
Jinshanling Great Wall
You will be picked up at the hotel lobby in the morning and drive to Jinshanling Wall which takes 2 hours. Once arrival, you will climb to the top and hike from west side to the east side of Jinshanling section. The hike is about 5-6 KM and takes about 3 hours. You have to be really physically in good conditions. During the hiking, you will come across many watch towers and barrier towers and see the difference between the renovated section and wild section. Also, you can see the Simatai Great Wall section from distance. Start the walk from East five eye tower then go up to the ruined towers. The difficulty of the hike is moderate. Along the way, you will pass through several famous towers: Black Tower, Lesser Jinshan Tower, Big Jinshan Tower.

5.00We did three days in private, with James as our guide. Two days in Beijing and one the Great Wall. We were delighted with on tour, considering that it coincided with the Golden Week of China, we managed to dodge most of the agglomerations with very good planning. The places chosen to eat have also been to our liking, we have tried typical dishes in local restaurants which is exactly what we like to do when we visit a new place. Thank you James for guiding us so professionally, and please convey our thanks to our driver, I don't remember his name, for taking us lockers and insurance throughout the tour. I highly recommend this company to prepare your vacation, when others told me to change my dates because they coincided with Golden Week, here they gave me options and have got us to enjoy it every day.

5.00Our driver Jason was great. He made sure every detail was perfect. 100% recommended He took us to the place and bought our cable car tickets. We visited 3 towers and took around 1 hour There was barely no crowd in place so it made it a great spot to visit the Great Wall like locals

5.00This is an excellent choice of visiting the Great Wall. After getting up with the cable car, and heading to East, in a few minutes there was nobody around us. Excellent organization, nice car, excellent driver, everything went perfectly! Thanks for organizing our tour!

5.00Everything was very well organized, the driver picked us up punctual at the hotel. We started our walk at Main Gate and ended at East Gate. The transfer was quick and very comfortable. This part of the wall is advantageous because not too many tourists.

Despite there being recent rain and flood damage that destroyed villages and resulted in wall closures, our guide Justin and driver were able to still get us to open portions of the wall. Having their expertise in navigating closures was priceless. We also went to a local Chinese home stay for lunch and they made some delicious vegetarian dishes for us. 10/10 for experience and value!
