I was able to travel with great peace of mind. There were a few Japanese people. The guides were doing their best to help, they were pleasant and I was very impressed. I think even Japanese people who are not used to traveling can really enjoy the Great Wall. Thank you very much.

This is probably the best way to visit the Great Wall. The more expensive tours offered on this and other sites are, in my opinion, a 100% rip off. Unless you need a private car to pick you up and a handler to walk you around. We met the tour guide, Gary Ciao, outside a subway station that was easy to get to from our hotel. He had a sign and approached us, checked our tickets, and helped us onto the bus. During the drive he spoke about the history of the wall, first in Chinese, then in English. Then he asked which tickets we wanted to buy and helped us decide, since there are a few options. We opted for both the Gondala and the Ski-Lift/Toboggan ride because there's no way we could have climbed that mountain on our own, and the Toboggan is super fun. We had about 5 hours on the wall, which is more than enough. The bus ride was comfortable and air conditioned (they do good busses in China). When we got off, Gary stuck around to make sure everyone was able to get where they were going. He spent about 20 minutes with us helping to debug my Alipay to get a taxi, then when the taxi parked a block away, called the driver to see where he was and walked us over to him. He was so caring and generous with his time. And he even WeChatted with me during the taxi ride to see how we were getting along! There aren't a lot of people who speak English in China. Gary really stood out and did everything he could to ensure we had a great time. Oh, one tip, don't forget to bring your passport. For some reason there are half a dozen passport checks. Every time you want to get on or off something you need to show your passport. Kinda weird, but that's how they do things here.

The bus ride was comfortable and the tour guide very nice! Personally I didn't like that there was talking/explaining over the (very loud) micros during the whole trip which was very stressfull.

Very well organized tour. Very helpful and friendly guide who speaks English very well. She explained the possible activities to us and booked the tickets for us. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to explore the wall on their own without having to worry about getting there and booking tickets. Thanks for a very nice day!!

Happy with our experience. Directions for pick up were simple and easy to follow. The bus left on time and was clean and comfortable. There wasn't much English spoken but we got by with our translation app, and the staff were helpful in buying tickets for us so we didn't have the hassle of doing it when we arrived. Once we got to the wall we were given instructions on where to go and what time to come back and then left, which is exactly we wanted. Would recommend for anyone who wants easy transport to the Wall without going on an actual tour.
