Departing from La Fortuna (Arenal Volcano), Tamarindo Beach,
Flamingo Beach, and the Papagayo area, the tropical rainforest in the Tenorio Volcano National Park and magnificent turquoise blue Rio Celeste waterfall awaits us. A local expert guide will company you.
We will briefly stop to admire the 400 year-old Tree of Peace.
We'll cool off in the Celeste River by taking an hour-and-a-half tubing tour down the blue river and stoping in several places to swim and snack on fresh regional fruits.
After tubing, we will have a typical lunch and return along the best route to viewing wildlife, such as two types of sloths, colored frogs , monkeys, exotic birds, and much more.
On the way back we will stop at the Souvenir Market and then return to your resting place.

5.00We are a family of 5, with 3 teenagers. They all loved every minute of it. The river rafting was super fun for all ages. We enjoyed the hike to the waterfall. Seeing all the tropical foliage was great and we got to see tons of sloths, frogs and snakes. The guides were amazing helping us with everything.

5.00Absolutely loved the River rafting experience. The river is beautiful, the color is enchanting. We also loved the hike to the waterfall. We also got to see tons of sloths, frogs, snakes, squirrels, as well as beautiful tropical foliage. The guides were amazing, attentive and accommodating.

5.00We were a family with a member who had knee problems. Michelle, our guide, was fantastic from the moment she greeted us. She was very cheerful and charismatic. She suggested we switch to a smaller waterfall, considering our needs, and it was the best decision. Our tour of the sanctuary was great, and we saw many animals. Afterward, we went to a small soda shop for lunch, and the food was delicious. We finished with our last activity, tubing on the Celeste River, which was the perfect way to end the day.

5.00Our tour guide Carlos was such a joy! He found us a sloth and a red frog that showed up to fight to the sounds he played on his phone. We also got to see juvenile yellow and brown venomous eyelash pit viper snakes. He was so thoughtful about taking photos of the wildlife as well as of us all along the way. On our walk to the waterfall he showed us hollow looking walking trees and real walking trees. He clearly loves the outdoors, hiking and sharing his knowledge. He’s worked very hard on his English and was easy to understand. On the waterfall hike, be prepared for rain! My Son went on this hike last June and it poured on both of us. Carlos had us stop at store to buy ponchos before our trip began 👍 Lunch was yummy! We ate at a local soda stop. We had a full plate of rice, beans, salad, potatoes and protein of our choice. The last part of our day Carlos remained with us but our River tubing guide was Daniel. He took photos of us as well as videos of us tubing. That’s so nice to have since tubing and taking your own videos isn’t possible. My husband and I were both quite uncomfortable in the vests they provide. They ride up and you felt like you were being choked. At the end of the trip they serve fresh fruit and water and there’s an area to change into dry clothes which we brought in our car since we did they self drive. Daniel was kind enough to air drop the videos he took to my phone. Fantastic and memorable day. I can’t say enough positive things about Carlos and Daniel! Consider yourself lucky if you get them! I

5.00Our trip was everything we hoped for and more! Yorleny was such a great tour guide and Marteen was a very safe driver. We weren’t able to go to Rio Celeste waterfall because of an error on my end but they took us to another one instead that we could swim in and it was so beautiful. Maria at the sloth sanctuary was incredible and we saw so many cool animals. She knew exactly where to look and helped us get amazing photos. The local restaurant they took us to for a traditional meal was delicious and served large portions. The river tubing was the highlight of the day. It was NOT your normal lazy river float. There were rapids and rocks and it had us laughing and cheering the entire time. Our guide there, G, and his team were amazing. Sooo fun! We came with a large work group and everyone loved it. We highly recommend you book this tour!

5.00Yorleny was our tour guide for the nature reserve and national park, and she was absolutely amazing. We saw sloths, toucans, snakes, and so much more. The experience included a beautiful waterfall hike, fresh fruit, and floating down a stunning mineral-blue river. Yorleny helped us understand the local culture and even taught us some Spanish, which made the experience even more special. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and wonderful with my kids. My children and I will remember this adventure forever. It was truly well worth the money, and I can’t wait to go on another tour with her. If you go on this tour request Yorleny. 5 stars plus

5.00This tour was absolutely perfect for avoiding large crowds. We were lucky enough to see a baby sloth right next to us! The cutest creature:) The river tubing was hands down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. So much fun! Alejandro did a fantastic job making sure everyone felt safe and comfortable the entire time. Lunch was delicious, served in a beautiful local setting, which made it even more special. We also really appreciated the comfortable pickup from Las Catalinas, which made the whole day easy and stress-free. Our driver Alfredo was amazing, especially considering the long drive, and Yorleny, our tour guide, took exceptional care of us throughout the day. Highly recommend this tour!
