What To Expect
Your local street food tour guide, who is extremely passionate about Vietnamese street cuisine, will pick you up from your hotel by taxi before taking you on your culinary excursion to a non-tourist sector and our first stop will be at a famous local restaurant (over 30 years opening) in district 3 specializing in “Bánh Mì Thịt Nướng” (Southern Banh Mi Style with marinated beef).
You continue to immerse yourself in delectable cuisine as you make your way to the food alleys in the centre of the street food district, where you can sample a tasty "Bún Bò" Lemongrass Beef Noodles Soup, prepared by a local chef with more than 25 years of experience. Next up on your food adventure is "Bánh Cuốn" - Steamed rice rolls. Inside each piece of rolls, the sweet aroma of the mixture of pork, chopped onions, Jicama, mushrooms, salt, fish sauce, and black pepper, all lightly stir-fried before steaming will tantalize the taste eaters’ buds. You will experience the perfect fusion of 4 delicious flavors just after the first bite.

Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. I’m still thinking about the flavors! From the start to finish, the experience was seamless and so well organized. The door-to-door service made it super convenient, and Tony’s friendly, engaging personality made the tour even more enjoyable. 5.00We had an amazing tour with Tony last night in Saigon! He showed us places in District #3 we would have never seen on our own. It felt like we walked through the living rooms of the city's residents as we visited five street food vendors. Tony provided great insight into the food and people and shared history and insights about everything we ate. Each vendor was a master at their dish and the food was beyond fabulous! Our three 20+ grown kiddos loved the experience and it was a fantastic family adventure.

5.00Fantastic experience with Tony as it was definitely off the beaten path and some amazing food finds that would be hard to find on your own! It was a leisurely paced tour and definitely got to see other parts of Saigon that would’ve been otherwise hard to replicate. Thanks for a super memorable evening and a great food experience!!
