Andrea gave us a good overview of Florence politics, art, city hierarchy and Michaelangelo’s presence before we saw the statue in a wonderfully calm, fact-filled conversation. She had just the right touch of humor to promote and hold our attention. Very engaging and the 6 of us would go with her again!

I would recommend this tour with a knowledgeable guide like Andrea if you are fascinated with history. Andrea is so pleasant and easy to follow and understand. She can answer any question and is very patient. Price was reasonable and if you want to leave the tour at any time you don’t feel obligated to stay.

This tour was exactly what we wanted and more! Becky was the best tour guide!!! Funny and also very knowledgeable (not stuffy or boring at all). Kept the tour lite, fun and entertaining while also providing insight into Michelangelo, other artists, and many historical facts. The walking part of the tour was extremely pleasant and Becky was super accommodating to our needs. And finally her detailed information at the Accademia and about the David made the tour that much more special!

This is a stunning tour, especially if you are a fan of Renaissance art history, its birthplace of Florence, and its greatest artist: Michelangelo. And if you get Becky as your guide, you have struck gold! Well worth the few hours it took to stroll through central old Florence, to meet the glorious David at the end!
