Monica was just fabulous. She was so knowledgeable. She had information and answers to absolutely anything we asked about. She was also very helpful in giving us information that helped us navigate Florence a little bit easier. She has a wonderful personality and always ensured we had an excellent view of each piece of art. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon with Monica and learning about the treasures of the Uffizi. I highly recommend LivTours, I have used them three different times in three different cities. When we visited Florence, Rafaella was an exceptional guide. She took us through the Uffizi. She was a wealth of information and moved at a comfortable pace and answered all of our questions along the way. LivTours is a great company. And Rafaella was fabulous. How cool it was to be the first into the gallery and see some of the most important artworks without a large crowd. Rafaella made us feel so comfortable and treated us like family.

Iurica was an amazing tour guide! I ended up being the only one on the tour so I basically got a private tour. Iurica was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. Since I was the only guest, the tour ended earlier than usual and Iurica showed me around areas that the tour doesn’t usually go to for the rest of the allotted time.

My husband and I lucked into a 4-person tour of the Uffizi with Elisa, a deeply-knowledgeable local with a lively understanding of the history of the art that surrounded us. Though the museum was jam-packed with people, Elisa deftly moved us through the galleries, steering our attention to specific paintings and sculptures while pointing out the significance of certain aspects or artistic choices in the pieces. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by the enormity of the collection, we were offered an insight into the artists themselves and the historical context which shaped what we were seeing. It was an unforgettable and delightful morning filled with "aha!" moments and a great appreciation for the gifts of our guide. Thank you, LivTours and Elisa!

Our guide, Eliza, was a delightful, knowledgeable and insightful teacher - we were a group of only four so the tour was intimate and personal. The Uffizi was packed but we were able to use head phones so we could hear everything that Eliza was pointing out to us. She obviously has a deep understanding of art history and especially the artists of the Middle ages and Renaissance. Her choice to focus on select paintings that featured particular developments in artistic techniques, mediums and relationships between artists and their patrons made the tour unique and memorable. A great experience.
