Start in Sham Shui Po, tasting family-run classics like rice rolls, Bib Gourmand noodles, and Hong Kong-style sandwiches. Wander backstreets and hear stories of old Hong Kong and its resilient spirit. In Mong Kok, enjoy Michelin Bib Gourmand wontons, buttery egg tarts, and bustling markets like Fa Yuen Street and the Goldfish Market. Finish in Yau Ma Tei, visiting the 1913 Wholesale Fruit Market, Tin Hau Temple, and, if adventurous, try snake soup and wine. Sham Shui Po District
This is a tour is a 4-hour exploration of the Kowloon Side. we’ll explore three unique districts of Kowloon, savor Michelin-rated street food, and immerse ourselves in the vibrant local culture. Your tour starts in Sham Shi Po, the least affluent district in Hong Kong. Don’t come here for a fancy gourmet meal. Instead, come here if you want to try Michelin-recommended noodles and snacks that won't make a dent in your pocket. Here your local guide will take you on a street food tour to discover the best local eats and introduce you to the local culture and living environment. The exact itinerary may vary based on the day, weather, and group preferences, but here are some highlights: -Cheung Fun (Rice Noodle Rolls) - Beef and Egg Sandwich: - Wife Cake - Tong Shui (Chinese Dessert Soups) (This is not a Michelin star food tour as Viator describes it - Viator refuses to remove that description even though we have told them it is misrepresenting our tour).

Best Tour I had in Hongkong, and overall for a food tour. Usually they buy the cheap stiff or they are strictly limited but with this tour they always try to accomandate to your taste as a group or what your preferences are. The tour guide also gives you insights about the situation and history of hongkong. He spoke perfect english and was fun to hang around with.

Fantastic guide, terrific food, and multiple neighborhoods. Must do if you want to get to try excellent local foods and have a great time while doing it. We loved it even though my husband and I are in our mid-sixties and a bit afraid of a tour using the Subways. Our guide, Koi, was really nice and so knowledgeable about Hong Kong’s history and the foods we were trying. Not anything that we would have found on our own and delicious. Must do do Foodies of all ages!

Tour guide, Mel, was great. Obviously very knowledgeable and had lots of cool info to share. Nice to balance the food stops with getting an understanding of the neighborhood as well as some history of HK. Food stops were diverse and as expected - very tasty. Finding Mel at start of tour was super easy. Pace was leisurely but we covered a lot. Recommend- bring HK money to both tip Mel and if you end at Temple Street Night Market - good for shopping at these small vendor stalls.

I booked the Small Group Kowloon Michelin Star Street Food & Culture Tour, which took place on November 12th, 2025 together with three other adventure-seekers. Our guide was Sinclair, who offered us a wealth of well-grounded insights into both the everyday life and the vibrant nightlife of Hong Kong. The tour led us through the Sham Shui Po area, where we gained a vivid impression of local street life and the bustling markets, all while being introduced to the full spectrum of Hong Kong’s cuisine. It culminated in Michelin-star-level delicacies—desserts, noodle soups, wontons, and more—as well as exotic dishes for a European palate, such as snake. My thanks go to our guide Sinclair for his excellent, well-balanced, and—for a first-time visitor to Hong Kong—exceptionally fascinating tour. I can only recommend this experience. Hopefully, it won’t be the last time the city sees me. 😊 With warm regards, Hans-Dieter

Andy took us to some great places and we wouldn’t have tried the food we did without him. From the tea lounge to the Michelin recommended desserts. Then the noodles to the fruit with a final snake soup stop! Thank you for such a comprehensive tour of Kowloon

Really interesting food tour. Great look around places in Kowloon we otherwise wouldn’t have visited. Lots of stops. More than enough to eat.

Interesting food. Felt like we got a nice idea of what locals eat and how they live. It was food and culture mixed together.
