What To Expect

We will meet you at the meeting point. Here we will give you all needed equipment, before we start the float down the calm river, though the most beautiful nature in Nosara. Your guide will steer the raft down the river, you just have to keep your eyes open, looking for multi-colored birds, howler monkeys, iguanas, maybe even a crocodile! The float takes about 1,5 hour and finish where the river meets the ocean. Here we will provide some fresh fruits, before we drive back to the meeting point.

My partner and I booked this excursion last minute and I’m so glad we did! It was such a cool experience to float down the river and spot wildlife. Our guide Kevin was super friendly and made the trip memorable. The river was mellow and we saw a baby crocodile! If you’re in the area, I’d highly recommend booking this trip if you want something laid back, but authentic feeling.

We had a great experience on the Safari River Float. Our guide, Kevin, was knowledgeable and knew all the best places to paddle to. We saw beautiful birds, iguanas, crabs and howler monkeys, maybe a caiman.

Five of us, me being the oldest (74). River raft. Fun, interesting, very pretty, relaxing, nice treats at the end. Esteban was our primary host, and just a terrific gentleman who made us feel at ease and was entirely helpful. There are some croc sightings - we had one or two - we were at ease given Esteban's experience and knowledge. The entire family - wife, sons, daughter in law - all were very happy with the experience. Photos are great, memory great, and we feel this is one to recommend and sing praises about.

My mother, daughter, and I went on an amazing float down the Nosara river with our guide, Warner. We saw many birds including egrets, crocodiles, and a giant iguana basking in the sun. We followed Warner's instruction on when to paddle and when to rest. He kept us safe with a few slaps of his paddle to keep away a nosy crocodile. He shared information about the changing landscape and his brother, Michael, met us at the end of the float with some fresh coconuts for drinking. Warner also sent us pics of the trip. It's the rainy season so the river was running fast and we didn't want to lose our phones while taking pics. Highly recommend this float. Thank you Warner and Michael!!!

If you take rafting or safari Nataly is a very good guide and you can see some very good dives hahaha in general the tour was good and the food was delicious

This river float tour exceeded my expectations in every way. We had great weather, our guide is so helpful and knowledgeable, and the river was calm and peaceful. Our guide called our attention to all kinds of wildlife, including birds, monkeys, horses, others. To top it all off, our guide even prepared a fruit salad for us at the end of the tour. Thank you!

This was the best trip. The river is very beautiful, clean and calm. Warner is an excellent guide and pointed out many animals which we otherwise would not have seen. Birds, lizards, many cool monkeys and even a river otter! I wools definitely do it again.

Our guide Kevin knew so much and explained everything about the animals we saw and how Costa Rica protects its environment. We saw a crocodile swimming under our boat. There was another lunch, which was delicious and a guided tour of the farm.
