We booked this tour super late and they were still able to accommodate us. We were also very late going to the meeting point but our tour guide, Rocky was very patient, helpful and waited for us. The line for the entrance for Tiananman square was so crowded and long but we got in after security and everything in an 1 hr & 30 mins. Rocky really did a great job getting us in quickly. He guided us through the Forbidden city while telling us about the history of this amazing place. He was very professional, knowledgeable and patient. He even took some nice pictures of us and sent it to us after the tour. I would definitely recommend this tour and Rocky to everyone.

Fantastic tour of the Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City with our guide Helen. With the golden week celebrations it was especially crowded and Helen was able to expertly guide us through the sights and avoid the crowds as best as possible while giving useful information about them. Lots of walking and a massive site to cover in just 4 hrs but Helen made it enjoyable. Thanks again!

We book the midday tour to visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City within 3 to 4 hours. By national event, the square was closed and the alternative we were offered was to go to Jinshang Park, we found it suitable and in fact we were booked entrance so we could go another day to Tiananmen. However, the duration of the excursion for us was 2 hours from the time we entered the Forbidden City until we left Jinshang Park. We found that we went fast from pavilion to pavilion through the forbidden city, without stopping to see the details or other stays, being clearly insufficient time for the price paid, only for the rest of the group to continue with the full day excursion to the Great Wall of China. It would be nice if this was announced, because we decided to do only the midday tour and thought they were different groups, but it was a disappointment to be only 1 hour in the most important and famous part of Beijing. We filed a complaint and were refunded $10, but we feel this does not compensate for the bad experience, we do not recommend it.

Due to a closure of Tiananmen Square, we went next to the Forbidden City into the adjacent park. Overall, the tour seemed very hasty. This was probably because the other part of the group was supposed to go to the Great Wall that day. Instead of the promised 4-5 hours we only had about 3 hours. The price-performance ratio therefore did not fit from our point of view, even if the guide was very friendly and nice. We had much better tours in Beijing at a better price. Therefore unfortunately no recommendation from us.
