The overall experience was good. Personally I don’t believe the ‘Jurassic park’ truck was required but it’s a fun gimmick and comfortable. We had a party of 12 so being able to travel together was a perk. We stayed outside Florence so the most stressful part was getting to the meeting point on time since taxis were not reliable. The highlight was our guide Miguel’s knowledge of the history of the area. The winery tours and Chianti wine and local olive oil tasting was educational. I would recommend the tour for that alone.

It was a great way to spend the day in Chianti. The wine was delicious and our hostess Genevra was so knowledgeable and knew all about wines and the Tuscan country side. The food was incredible, we had boar ragu and truffle ravioli that was amazing. We met some great folks too and had lots of laughs and made new friends. I don't want to leave out our great driver Fabio.

Provided by "Walk about Florence", booked through Viator. Ato, the guide was amazing! He was knowledgeable, funny and made it a very welcoming experience for us. The vehicle was comfortable and very well driven. They did not skimp on the wine by any means and you can tell that they care about what goes into the glass and on your plate. The views are worth it alone!
