Beware - Tour / Tour Guide was a NO SHOW!

1.00*WARNING* - Tour guide / Driver never showed up! They never reached out to cancel with us or others in the group - we were just left at the Cruise Port Terminal. There were other tours / tour guides that showed genuine concern trying to help us find “Slante Tours” because we kept searching everywhere for them. Thankfully my MIL had international telephone service and we called Viator who attempted many times to contact the tour group with no luck. Very disappointed in the lack of communication and service. Wish we could leave negative stars at how we felt treated and forgotten.
I was ripped off by Slainte Scotland Tours!

1.00I had to give a one star rating in order to advance to this page...but Slainte Scotland Tours deserves a minus minus 25 star rating. Slainte Scotland Tours DID NOT show up for my prepaid excursion. DO NOT book with Slainte Scotland Tours!

3.00We kept in touch with Catriona re the tour and were advised to look out for her wearing a green tartan skirt. However she decided not to wear it and we frantically ran around looking. We ended up on a bus which was going to the castle but realised it was wrong. Found Catriona and got in the 7 seater vehicle. The big problem for us was that we were facing backwards and had to keep stretching our necks to see places that were pointed out. Plus when she said to our right it was on our left. We were meant to get water and snacks but didn’t! Catriona was very nice and we enjoyed the tour of Stirling Castle with a great guide.

5.00Super tour. Katarina is awesome! Lots of knowldge. The best tour guide we heard. We had 12 different Vitour excursions, and she was the best. She really knows her stuff! Would recommend her!!

5.00We had a fantastic tour from our cruise ship to Stirling Castle via Loch Lomond. Our guide Catriona was a great guide, she pointed out the sights and gave us a rundown of the various kings who had lived in the castle. Catriona even made an unscheduled stop in a small town for pies and another stop to take photos of Dumbarton Castle. Well worth the trip.
