Our East Village tour begins at one of New York’s donut institutions, Donut Pub. Donut Pub has been around for over 50 years and has some of the best donuts in New York City.
We’ll showcase some of their most famous flavors and you’ll get to sample many of them. From here, we’ll take a walk through the lovely neighborhoods, high rises, parks, and landmarks which dot East Village and make it one of New York’s most iconic neighborhoods.
At our next stop, we’ll try some classic Italian Bomboloni that you’ll swear came right from the old country. If you’ve never had bomboloni, you are in for a treat! From here, we’ll highlight some of the music history and icons in the surrounding neighborhood including CBGB and Bowery Electric one our way to our third stop.
Here, we’ll highlight their signature cardamom buns which were recently a viral sensation on TikTok. And last, but not least, we’ll end our tour with some incredible artisan donuts which rotate seasonally.

5.00This was a great tour and much more than donuts. The history of the East Village and the incredible knowledge of our Guide Rob was impressive. Rob gave us a detailed story of the area that we have always bypassed when in NYC. We have a new appreciation for the village and loved the treats as well! If you get the opportunity to hang with Rob eating donuts and learning...go for it!

5.00I recently went on a donut tour, and it was such a fun and tasty experience. The tour took us to a variety of shops, each with its own style, history, and specialty flavors. What I liked most was how different each stop felt—some places focused on classic glazed and powdered donuts, while others offered creative twists with unique toppings and fillings. The guide shared interesting stories about the neighborhoods and the shops themselves, which added a nice cultural touch beyond just eating. It never felt rushed; we had time to enjoy each donut, take photos, and chat with others on the tour. By the end, I was definitely full, but in the best way. It was a great balance of sweet treats, local flavor, and a little walking to keep it from feeling too heavy. 5.00The tour is made for fans of music, theater, art, and the history of the East Village. Jeff is a wealth of information and goes out of his way to make the experience memorable. The donut stops are part of the enjoyment of the tour. Each stop is different and the doughnuts are delicious.

5.00Really fun walking tour experience through East Village. David Turk was our guide and he was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about history of the area, pointing out so many landmarks we wouldn't have thought twice about. The tour was engaging, intimate and easy going. Really gave us an even greater appreciation for the city. Thanks David for sharing your passion with us, and the donuts were delicious!
