Pls note that if you book the tour not 7 days in advance we can't pre-book the Forbidden city Tickets and in this case we will use our way for getting the Forbidden city tickets with some queuing time.

Please offer all passport number and name & birth datesfor Forbidden City tickets booking and bring passports during the tour
Tian'anmen Square might close due to some political activities or some foreign leaders' visit without announcement and if that's happened we will skip the visit to the Square and replace the visit to the Jingshan Park
This is a group tour, pls be punctual and arrive the meeting point at least 5 to 10 mins before the departure and if you are late and the group will go you can't join in the tour.
This. is completely walking tour for almost 2-3 kilometers walking covering 4 hours pls dress comfortable walking shoes and be physical in good conditions.
This is a group tour and it requires the minimum numbers of participants. If the numbers don't reach to our requirement we might require the change of the dates or cancel of the tour and will inform you in advance.

Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)
Ti'anmen Square is the Largest City Center Square in the world. walk to the Tian’anmen Square (after all the security check). We will use the Travel Agency Pass to have quick entry to the Square. You are going to see the ancient Qianmen Gate, the Monument to the People’s heroes and the Great Hall of the people from outside and your tour guide will share with you the history and stories behind all the mentioned architectures. Only Morning session Includes the visit to the Square

5.00The tour was fantastic, there’s no way I could have done it all on my own. Local expertise is essential, and Jenny was outstanding. She especially helped us navigate multiple security checkpoints, and all booking requirements were taken care of in advance. Communication was clear, and she shared fascinating facts and insights throughout. I highly recommend this tour. Just make sure to wear comfortable shoes, there’s a lot to cover in 4 hours!

5.00Our group walking tour of Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City was definitely one of the most impressive experiences of our trip to Beijing! It was a walk full of history, architecture and culture, while our guide Gary made the experience truly alive. We started from Tiananmen Square, a huge place full of symbolism, surrounded by iconic buildings such as the People’s Palace and the National Museum of China. Gary, our guide, clearly explained the importance of the square in Chinese history and politics, giving us a deeper understanding of the place. The security checks were organized and the navigation smooth. Then we moved to the Forbidden City, and really took the breath! The huge courtyards, palaces and the detail in its architecture are impressive. Gary led us to the most important points, explaining the history of each building and the symbolic elements, such as the animal statues and the elaborate tiles on the roofs. What we liked best: Gary, our guide, was amazing with live descriptions and historical details The impeccable organization and small size of the group, but also the wonderful mood of all The imposing architecture and excellent preservation of the buildings The easy meeting point near Tiananmen East station Useful advice: You have your passport (required for entry). Wear comfortable shoes — there is a lot of walking! Go early in the morning to avoid the heat and crowds. Overall, a wonderful experience that takes you to the past of China and shows you its cultural power. If you are in Beijing, this tour is a must!

1.00I DON’T recommend Catherine Lu Tours. I booked a package to see T-Square, Forbidden City, and Summer Palace. There were 16 people in the group. The guide, Tony, was professional and knowledgeable. At the end of the Forbidden City, he started asking each one of us what is our next booked site. It turns out some people were booked to see Temple of Heaven, some for Summer Palace, and some for other sites - ALL IN THE SAME DAY AND TIME. I asked why are we all double snd triple-booked. Tony didn’t know why. He wanted me to wait 3 hours to finish a tour with some of the other tourists, and he’d take me to the Summer Palace. This is UNACCEPTABLE. He tried to reach Catherine to ask if she can send another tour guide to take me to the Summer Palace. Catherine was unreachable. Tony asked me if I want to take the tour another day. As a tourist I don’t have time to switch schedules. I have a tight itinerary. I asked Tony to tell Catherine I want a refund for the Summer Palace, since it wasn’t going to take place. Catherine refunded me the partial cost. But she can’t refund me the time wasted, the opportunity lost to see the Summer Palace, and the bad experience. She can’t refund that. Stay way from this predatory tour company, which is only interested in booking people, but doesn’t provide what you paid for.
