There was some kind of protest in Athens. No problem, the company organised very comfortable 16 seat buses instead and we still got away right on time.

Our tour guide Dido was fabulous. I would highly recommend this trip on your visit to Athens. Beautiful views, and the sunset was just stunning!

We wanted a basic tour with a central pick-up location, no frills and easy for a family of four. The bus was comfortable and Stephanos, our onboard guide, was excellent. He did not escort us around the site but on the bus ride home Stephanos shared his extensive knowledge about the temple of Poseidon and the history of the peninsula, as well as many other aspects of Greek history and antiquity. The hand-held audio guides distributed for use during the bus journey to the site were not particularly engaging but they were not a reason we booked the trip - we just wanted to visit the temple and explore the site at our own pace. The weather was not in our favour for stunning sunset photos but the temple is nicely lit and still looked dramatic against the evening sky.

The in person guide was great but the audio guide lacked interesting information and didn’t include details about the Temple of Poseidon. This could have been included before we arrived. The sunset was beautiful and the trip was well organized.

It was a great experience. Our guide Griselda was excellent! She looked after us, the couch full of tourists, very well. The whole trip was amazing.

During the bus hour the audio guide is provided which is basically a copy-paste of wikipedia. Among other things, the various chapters are abruptly interrupted before the end, so the speeches always remain halfway through.

Pick up convenient. Air conditioned coach, beautiful views on the way to see Poseidon temple. Stop off at one place where you can see the temple from afar. Does not include the 20 euros cost to get into temple. Sunset was spectacular. Large cues for toilet (female) so had to hold it in so we didn’t miss the coach back. Would definitely recommend for the price.
