Ancient Agora of Athens
Begin your tour at the Agora, the vibrant heart of ancient Athens. This was the city’s center for politics, commerce, social life, and religion. When the Apostle Paul arrived in Athens, he came here to engage with philosophers and thinkers, sharing the message of Christianity amidst the lively debates and cultural exchanges that defined this historic gathering place.
Just northwest of the Acropolis stands the Areopagus, a marble hill that served as a judicial and political meeting place in ancient Athens. During Apostle Paul’s visit, it was also a renowned spot for intellectual debate and discussion. The council here, made up of 100 members including philosophers, scholars, and former officials, listened as Paul presented his message, marking a pivotal moment in the spread of Christianity.

What a wonderful day trip to Athens and Corinth to experience the journey of Paul. Our guide was very knowledgeable, provided a 1st century context of Paul’s missionary journey. The historical sites at Corinth and the Corinthian Canal were terrific. So many things to see. The choice of restaurant meal was authentic Greek and delicious. It was a full day of activities that our group thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you Ruslan!!

Had an amazing day with Ruslan. He had a great wealth of knowledge about the history of the area and of Paul the apostle. He was able to graciously accommodate our 2 elderly parents and adjust our schedule accordingly. It was an enjoyable day for all.

Had a great experience with Ruslan as my travel guide. First time having a private tour and now highly recommend it. He managed to get me where I needed to be for each location but gave me enough time to walk around. This was great because I was able to see so much. Was not depended upon others in a group who might be tired and need to stop to take a break. I actually saw this where groups where at historical sites and just sitting, not doing anything. I maximized my time to see as much as possible. I took so many pictures. He used the drive time to explain where we were going, the historical significance of the place and things I should look out for. Having dedicated tour guide is highly recommended if you want to get the most out of your trip and Ruslan is your guide to take you. Very professional, courteous, and understanding. Glad I'm took the trip today with him as my guide.

Walked where the Apostle Paul walked and experienced a taste of the times in which Paul lived. Our guide pointed out and helped interpret appropriate ruins. Careful driver.

Greece…a land of Gods and great personalities….whose influence continues rosary. Surely, the Apostle Paul was one of those whose letter to the folks at Corinth resonates in practical ways today. Our tour guide, Kostas (Costas), was knowledgeable and passionate about Paul and his life while in Athens as well as Corinth. Knowing history is one thing, knowing the person of history is another. Putting Paul in context is what I sought and George did that for me! His care for our safety and comfort, and patience without mobility limitations was a plus. Would recommend George…this tour.
