Grüner see, 3 hours walking tour Grüner see is one of hundreds of mountain lakes in the Alps with magnificent mountain views and reflections in the water. But this lake is unique because of its color - deep green. Inside Lake Gruner grows native plants that create breathtaking views of the lake. But it's not just one lake; it's a regional park with free small lakes, cozy trails between pine trees, mountain springs and rocks. After a walk in the fresh mountain air with amazing views of the lakes and mountains, we will stop for lunch at a traditional local restaurant.

5.00Very knowledgeable guide, friendly and wonderful to spend time with. Picked us up at our hotel and drove us up to the Alps. Flexible regarding difficulty of hike/walk. Absolutely beautiful locations. We loved it! One of the highlights of our trip.

5.00Fantastic tour with Jane and Vladimir! This place is almost a 90 minute drive from Vienna, to the foothills of the Styrian Alps and the Green Lake (Gruner See) is better than the pictures. The different hues of green make you appreciate nature even more. Jane was the one who accompanied us on the short easy trek and on the way there in the car she gave us a bunch of information on the different geographical regions of Austria and how they are culturally different. Jane and Vladimir are lovely people who manage to keep you entertained and interested throughout. This tour was definitely the highlight of our trip! Would definitely repeat.
