The Ti Marouba is a catamaran specifically designed to be the ultimate in day charters. Moored in the bay off Playa Tamarindo in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, the boat is packed with amenities including trampolines for sunning and lounging, a shaded main salon, fresh water shower, 2 clean restrooms (men & women), well maintained snorkel gear, kayaks and a stairway to the sea.

Great day on the water

It was a fun day on the catamaran. We saw whales playing, stopped for a swim and had a good lunch. They served cocktails and other beverages the whole time. I definitely recommend this activity.
No good for snorkeling

The crew were great. So was the food. We took this excursion primarily for snorkeling. That's where things fell apart. When we got to the beach area, the crew told us there were fins under a bench. The free for all began. Trying to find a pair of fins that matched, let alone that fit took considerable time. Next was the mask and snorkel. I pulled a couple masks from the bin. They were both extremely grimey. As the snorkels were all attached to masks, I assume nothing had been washed. We decided to pass on the snorkeling for safety reasons. We were left disappointed. We did spot whales on the return trip and the captain slowed the boat and maneuvered closer so we got a good view. If not for the poor condition of the snorkeling gear it would have been a great trip.

Had so much fun with my husband and friends on the sunset cruise! Met new friends and enjoyed food and drinks. Would definitely do it again!

The catamaran ride was great, although they didn’t use the sails. Good and drinks were delicious. Don’t expect to see too many fish if you snorkel.

So fun, amazing views, pretty brach stop plus great lunch, music and of course a beautiful sunset. Crew soooo friendly and attentive!
