The Ti Marouba is a catamaran specifically designed to be the ultimate in day charters. Moored in the bay off Playa Tamarindo in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, the boat is packed with amenities including trampolines for sunning and lounging, a shaded main salon, fresh water shower, 2 clean restrooms (men & women), well maintained snorkel gear, kayaks and a stairway to the sea.

We were informed prior to the trip that we could cancel if weather was bad at time of check in. It was storming. We decided not to go because storms were on an off all day. We were told at check in we could cancel and to go through the app to process the refund. Now they are denying the refund because the rest of the people(not in our group) went. They are even telling Viator the weather was favorable. They lied. We were uncomfortable going on a boat while storming. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Shady company!

We didn't like it, the captain and his assistants didn't do anything to amenorrhea the trip, they only did x what they were paid. No interaction with the passengers, we traveled to the beach without recommending vests, and the sea was super strong. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

The catamaran was a great experience! The service was great on board. The ride to the secluded beach was about an hour and it gave us about an hour to snorkel. The reefs were beautiful. Once we were done we had a traditional meal on the boat. We went back to the drop off location during sunset and got to watch the sun go down. Getting to the boat and off the boat is a little scary if you are older/ not well balanced.
