Blue Dolphin 1 is a 40’ open layout catamaran and Blue Dolphin 2 is a large, 50’ cruising style catamaran. Whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, a family and friends or a business group, the Blue Dolphin’s professional, licensed crew will make you feel welcome and part of our family. So come aboard, relax and enjoy the ride with us!
Tours during high season are likely to sell-out, so book early.

What To Expect
From Tamarindo we will head North up the coast for about 1 hour while we will enjoy delightful drinks, spectacular scenery and the possibility for spotting for sea life such as whales, dolphins, turtles and rays. Then we will moor in a cove near Playa Huevos for water activities. After the water activities we return to the boat to enjoy a delicious, light meal around 4 PM. Once the food service is complete we weigh anchor and head back to Tamarindo. All the while you’ll enjoy our good music, drinks, perhaps a little dancing, and likely an amazing sunset. We’ll deliver back to shore just after the sun sets.

Option 1: Join the Blue Dolphin crew to start your day. We offer sailing, swimming, snorkeling, kayaks, and stand-up paddle board. We serve a light, tasty meal around 10 AM and have open bar.

5.00Things we liked: Amazing view on the trip Lots of snacks and drinks. Friendly staff, including Mateo, the Jr. Capitán. It was a nice small group, as I saw the other boats around with crowds of people, I was grateful that there were only 14 on our boat. We saw great fish. I saw two puffer fish! We also saw sea turtles on the way to the lagoon. I wish there had been flippers for the snorkeling, but that was the only con, really.

5.00Great fun for the family! Everyone from age 7-77 had a great time. The crew were great with the kids - played songs on request and got them dancing. Food was delicious. The boat was really clean. Great experience!

3.00This was not a family friendly excursion. If you are looking for a rated R experience, then this tour is for you. If you want to listen to raunchy music with “_uck”, “ho,” and “cutchy” lyrics, then this tour is for you. If you are college girls looking to dirty dance with the captain during the tour and then make out with him right after you disembark, then this tour is for you. There was also false advertising. Snorkeling is not an option. Although we were able to use a large float mat, it required us to ask and receive a check of the watch and dirty look. Food was delicious but only provided for a short while. Drinks were watery with very little alcohol unless you were the aforementioned college girls hooking up with the boat captain. The boat ride was very pleasant and offered a beautiful sunset view. Just know what you’re getting and not getting with this tour.
