A great workshop, initial ideas started with a very good introduction and creative work. Highly recommended. Fooruka is relaxed as a beginner constructively shows me the Ikebana art/philosophy, a very good teacher.

So grateful to Master Fooraku for such an insightful and moving Ikebana class. It was so much more than just flower arranging — every placement, every stem held meaning. His calm presence and deep philosophy behind the art made the experience truly special. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us.

The Ikebana course was a great experience! Although I did it alone, I had great conversations. Both with Fooraku and with the participants. Fooraku was warm, interested and took a lot of time for each individual participant. You can tell he does this work with passion. With the prepared presentation at the beginning, the creation with the plants was easy afterwards. I would visit this course again at any time. He inspired me and let me dive deep into the arts of Japan. Thank you, Fooraku!

I took Fooraku's ikebana class with my friends. I have joined Western flower arrangement classes before, but this was my first ikebana class. I was impressed by the technique of expressing beauty with a few flowers as opposed to flower arrangements that use many flowers. Fooraku explained us about the tools and how to cut and put the flowers in a vase. He used seasonal flowers, so I tought I can enjoy ikebana whole year! His instructions was very eazy to understand and follow, so I was so satisfied with my work!! He even gave us the certification at the end of the class and made me happy! If you have chance to go to Kyoto, don't miss it!! highly recommend!
