Get to know the history Tromsø as the world's northernmost brewery hub and become
acquainted with the flavours of the North.
This is the perfect tour for everyone are passionate or curious about quality beer. We will visit Tromsø's historical city centre, two pubs and a micro brewery, and sample 10 locally produced beers and Arctic tapas in traditional, cosy settings, which are closely interlinked with the maritime history of Tromsø.
On the way we get a chance to see a selection of the most important sights our city has to offer, such as the world's northernmost cathedrals, traditional wooden houses, and another local microbrewery. We will even encounter the spot with the highest density of attractions in all of Tromsø!
The final stop of our tour will be a traditional local pub, whose atmosphere reflects the maritime heritage of our city. There we are invited to taste the last batch of in total 10 products from Arctic craft breweries, together with a selection of Arctic tapas.

An amazing experience for our family. We walked along the Main Street of Tromso and stop-by a few bars to enjoy different kinds of beer and arctic snacks. The guide told us many interesting stories about wine/beer brewery in Tromso. We did enjoy the trip very much.

An interesting afternoon walking around Tromso and tasting various beers. Bernard, the tour guide told us about the history of brewing in Tromso. Ten different beers were tasted, and a little bit of tapas in the last bar.

Astrid was an excellent hostess, just consider: 1. You will not enter the Mack Brewery (not included, although there are photos in the post) 2. You will walk recognizing typical places, so it is advisable to take it the first days. 3. Tapas are in the last bar, before that there are no tapas, and they are just typical food tastings (whale, seal, reindeer and others) 4. Astrid knows a lot about Tromsø's history, however, he is not a beer specialist.
