  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rappelling at Umauma Falls was hands-down one of the most unforgettable experiences I’ve ever had in Hawaiʻi. From the moment we arrived, the views were unreal—lush jungle, powerful waterfalls, and that instant wow feeling you can’t capture in photos. The guides were incredible: professional, calm, and genuinely fun. They made sure everyone felt safe and confident every step of the way, whether it was your first time or you’re a total adrenaline junkie. Their energy alone made the experience even better. Descending alongside a roaring waterfall, feeling the mist on your face, and looking out over the valley is something I’ll never forget. It was the perfect mix of adventure and natural beauty. If you’re on the Big Island and looking for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, this is it. I would 100% do it again and recommend it to anyone—locals and visitors alike. Book it. You won’t regret it.

  Eric and Andrew were amazing guides! I had so much fun rappelling! I was solo and joined a group with one other couple. The guides made me feel really safe, especially as I learned more about their experiences canyoneering in the past! I think this is a great activity to do alone, but it would be even more fun with your family and friends! I highly recommend this activity!

  If your are lucky enough to have Preston and Michael be your guides then you will be blessed with the friendliest and most capable guides you could ask for. Both have experience in the outdoors that goes beyond just canyoning. They keep you safe while making sure that you have moments to remember. They were incredibly helpful at helping us to record those memories The route itself was challenging but doable for a beginner (me). The water was clear and beautiful and I could’ve stayed around to play in the pools all day.

  Fantastic experience rappelling! Guides Eric and Leilani were awesome! Both were really professional and fun. They made sure you were safe but not overbearing. Eric definitely has enough experience to gauge others experience and provide the appropriate guidance.   10/10, highlight of our vacation! Eric and Jason were top notch and kept everything fun and easygoing while showing us the ropes (literally). Would recommend for the adventurous/active types. Would totally go again in a heartbeat
