This cooking class is an interactive and hands-on experience, guided by a professional Italian chef. You will learn to prepare fresh pasta from scratch, using traditional techniques that you can replicate at home.

The chef will share authentic family recipes and explain step by step how to knead, cut and shape different types of pasta. You will also discover curiosities about Italian cuisine and how cuisine is part of your daily culture.

During the class we will talk about ingredients, how to choose them, and the importance of quality in Italian cuisine. At the end, we will share the prepared meal together and enjoy a homemade dessert made by the chef.

Ideal for couples, families or groups of friends. Vegetarian options are available. Please contact us in advance if you have any food restrictions.

What To Expect

Taste of Italy : Take part in a practical and fun workshop you will learn to prepare fresh pasta from scratch, guided by an Italian chef in his own home in Valencia. We will start by making the dough by hand, step by step. While you rest, we will prepare a tasty filling together and enjoy a small Italian appetizer. Then we will use the pasta machine to create different types of pasta, including a rose-shaped filled pasta. In the end, they will share the meal we have prepared together and a delicious homemade dessert made by the chef. You don’t need previous kitchen experience to enjoy this unique experience! An authentic proposal, perfect for curious travelers, foodies and anyone who wants to live a piece of Italy in Valencia.

It was a unique and wonderful experience. We went with my sisters and, really, we loved it! A very original and fun activity. Chef Andrea, an authentic Italian, is amazing, and we learned a lot about pasta preparation in a very friendly and welcoming Mood.

It was an incredible experience! The Italian chef Andrea welcomes us in his beautifull home. An intimate environment has been created where we can share the chat with the chef and two other couples. The pasta was delicious, we where able to taste it and all with a rich wine and a delicious dessert. We turned out to be an unforgettable experience!

This was my first time making fresh pasta and it was really special! I didn't think I could do something like this with my own hands, but with the help of chef Andrea and his wife Anita it was very easy, fun and delicious! I did a private lesson and it was really entertaining! The place is very cute, everything super well put together, the aprons, utensils, the appetizer and dinner, all in detail! I highly recommend it!!

Myself and my wife did the pasta making workshop as we love to cook but had never made our own pasta before. We didn't know what to expect but Andrea and Anita put us at ease as soon as we we arrived at their place. They gave us some time to acquaint ourselves with the other couple that were doing the course, over a glass of wine. Once the course began, Andrea showed us the process of making the pasta and filling before we did it ourselves. Himself and Anita then guided us through it, providing help when needed while never being overbearing. The results were beautiful and delicious and we would highly recommend this course to people. It's a lovely way of spending an afternoon or evening learning a new skill, enjoying good food and meeting new people!
MUST ATTEND. The pasta class outside of Italy you didn’t know you needed!

An amazing experience where you get to be the chef. Incredible step by step instructions. Plus encouragement when it doesn’t go as planned. What we created was delicious and so much fun. Really appreciated Chef Andrea Pugliese with such a warm and caring attitude.

We are visiting Valencia and we’re excited to make fresh pasta with Italian Chef Andrea. We were welcomed into his delightful apartment, offered a beverage and a special apron. Then we washed our hands and got to work making pasta from scratch. Andrea had everything ready and we mixed up a simple pasta dough. While it rested, we had a glass of wine and delicious appetizers, learning about Andrea’s background, and sharing about our lives/family etc. Andrea is a very engaging host! We returned to the work table to prepare the pasta dough, making ricotta/basil/tomato-filled pasta roses. After 4 mins of boiling and a brief sauté in butter, we enjoyed our meal while Andrea made tagliatelle with the remaining dough. Our meal was completed with a chef-made lemon/almond/white chocolate cake. Delicious!! We truly enjoyed our experience with Andreas and highly recommend this class to any small or large group. He is also a chef for events and parties. We would absolutely hire him if we end up moving to Valencia (which we might!)

We had a wonderful time during this workshop. Andrea and his wife Anita were amazing hosts and also prepared delicious bites for us, as well as a very tasty dessert. The atmosphere was warm and genuine; we had great conversations, and whenever our wine glasses were empty, they were magically full again🍷. Such kind people and a great way to learn the basics of making your own pasta. I would recommend it to everyone!!

I haven't done a cooking course before, but if they're all like this I want to do one every week from now on. We made some delicious pasta Controlled by a fantastic chef. It was an educational and fun evening. It's not just stiff cooking, but you can also just have a chat with the chef and his wife. When we had the dough ready, this had to rest for 20 minutes. Before this time, the chef's wife had prepared a delicious snack to bridge the time. I would recommend everyone to do this when they want to know something about pasta and have a nice evening!
