Amsterdam is best viewed from the water and during this 75-minute canal cruise, you'll understand why. You'll experience the best of the historic city center.

Discover the city's top highlights, iconic bridges and the 17th-century buildings lining the canals. You'll come across new architecture and bridges, showing a historical city that is rooted in history but continues to develop and change.

Home to the world’s largest collection of Vincent van Gogh’s paintings, the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam transports visitors on a fascinating journey through the life of the artist and his contemporaries. The museum introduces the complete story: the artist, the context, Van Gogh’s personal ambitions, his emotions, the myths that surround him and his influence right up until this very day. The Van Gogh Museum’s collection includes world-famous paintings such as Sunflowers, Almond Blossom and The Potato Eaters. The museum also organizes three temporary exhibitions every year.

Tour guide was awesome, was super knowledgeable and really brought us on a journey- for the price, compared to other tours I'd done, I feel like it could have been a bit longer or covered a bit more but overall it was a great tour and enjoyed it!

Fantastic and informative visit to Van Gogh Museum. Well organised. Friendly, helpful staff. Plenty of space to explore and view art even though museum was busy. Highly recommend.

Very nice museum with explanations in Dutch and English of each painting or photo exposed which makes very easy the detailed observation of each item!

The trip through the canals was beautiful. The captain explained better than the audio, but in English. The museum experience was beautiful. Thanks to you, I was able to get an entrance ticket, because they were impossible. I have a nice memory of Amsterdam thanks to you.

We were really looking forward to this combo tour, but it turned out to be quite frustrating. The timing between the Van Gogh Museum entry and the canal cruise was poorly coordinated — we barely had enough time to explore the museum before rushing across town to make the boat. It felt more stressful than romantic. At the museum, the crowds were overwhelming, and it was hard to enjoy the artwork together because people kept blocking the exhibits. Even with timed entry, it felt like there were way too many visitors. The canal cruise itself was okay, but the audio guide didn’t work properly on one of our headsets, and the commentary wasn’t very engaging. We were hoping for something more personal or atmospheric, but it felt generic and rushed. Overall, it wasn’t the relaxed, cultural experience we’d hoped for — more like ticking off two activities on a checklist. Definitely not ideal for couples looking for a smooth, romantic day out.

Museum wonderful. Blue Boat canal tour… fair only. Poor audio information… should have given a lot more Amsterdam details… too much music. We were supposed to receive a drink and snack…. No sight of either!!!

We loved the audio and scavenger hunt they had for my 10yr old son at the VanGogh museum. He even won a prize! The canal tour was disappointing. The audio didn’t go with what we were looking and passing. The audio was saying all of these interesting things, but they were no where in sight. I think the audio was too ahead.

  • Museum great but not the canal cruise

The Van Gogh Museum experience was great . However the canal cruise included in the ticket was not. There were no instructions on how to redeem the ticket. The Blue Boat company had an office on one of the canals but it was too hard to access especially not knowing whether we would definitely get our tickets validated there. We would have preferred to buy the Van Gogh Museum entry tickets excluding the canal cruise cost but didn’t have the option. We ended up doing the canal cruise with another company.
