Although the art works and artefact’s are unrivalled, it was the tour that was itself unrivalled by being a claustrophobic experience that, I would say, is paralleled to the ‘Escape Room’ game! Except there are no clues! We wanted to pick and choose what we saw, however the contra flow system means everything is one way! Took us hours to get to the Sistine Chapel, and there were no exits to leave early (and we were very close to giving up seeing the Sistine Chapel completely!). Felt exhausting and claustrophobic with big crowds.

We had the best time on our tour of the Vatican City Museums and then onto the Sistine Chapel! Our guide Frederico was amazing and so knowledgeable! We learnt so much about the Vatican City and all the paintings inside are just incredible. Would highly recommend!

Honestly, the walk to the Vatican was late. We still "waited" in line for the guy to buy our tickets. We didn't save any time at all. In fact, we wasted it. I would have much rather preferred getting my ticket on my own rather than having an overpriced "host". The Vatican MUSEUM ticket is 17€. Viator charges $34. I would not recommend.
